Quite a while back I picked up the Rain Cosmetics Conceal Reveal Flawless Foundation SPF 15 in Baby Doll Bisque from Hautelook. The other item with the foundation is an eyeshadow duo that I will be reviewing, too.
A little about Rain Cosmetics:
In 2008, a group of diverse personalities living in the entertainment capital of the world set out to create a professional color cosmetic line to satisfy the modern woman’s multi-faceted, demanding life. Each coming from different beauty backgrounds but all sharing similar 24/7 Las Vegas lifestyles, they saw the need for long-wearing, lightweight products that captured the glamorous side of the city.

Wearing Baby Doll Bisque.
Does it live up to its claims?
Yes! This is a really awesome foundation on me. It’s full coverage for me and seems to hide all imperfections. It almost reminds me of my bb cream in the way it covers and feels on the skin. It’s not heavy, it’s light. It’s not oily or moisturizing. It feels dry but not drying, if that makes sense.
Me wearing Baby Doll Bisque.
Would I purchase again?
Yes! I actually love this foundation. I’m so glad I gave it a chance on Hautelook because I haven’t been disappointed with it. I think it looks great on me. I feel like it really looks great on me. Even though I got it on Hautelook for a discounted price, I would definitely pay full price for it.
Have you tried Rain Cosmetics? What do you think of this foundation? I really love it!
Product purchased by me. All opinions are my own.
I’ve never heard of Rain Cosmetics. It looks very nice on your skin. The match looks excellent.
Thanks Vijaya! It seems to be really awesome for me. I had never heard of them before seeing them on Hautelook.
It looks great! I love the matte porcelain look your skin has on the last picture. I usually prefer a dewy finish, but it definitely doesn’t look dry so it is very flattering.
Oh wow! You look so lovely! I love the finish of this foundation, and it’s being similar to bb cream is a definite plus to me. It’s great that it’s got a nice price too, I mean comparatively.
I wish I knew a brick and mortar store that sold this. I hate buying foundation without seeing it in person.
It looks like a perfect match for your skin. My concern for me with this product would be how much silicone is in the foundation. I recently switched over to a wax based foundation from France in my attempt to avoid the many – most – products here which now utilize silicones of various types in their formulas. It’s really frustrating to me to be unable to get great silicone free products in North America because all of the companies have jumped on the bandwagon. Whether it’s primers, foundations, concealers, whatever, there just are not enough silicone free options on the North American market. As a result, I’m buying more & more European cosmetics & skin care products. Their companies seem to realize that making use of the same ingredients in all their products is not a good thing. It’s too bad because I really like the look of this on your skin, & love full coverage foundation that still gives a ‘real skin’ finish
@Sandra TK I feel very lucky that silicones don’t seem to irritate my skin like they do some people. Yes I do love the finish. What’s your favorite ingredient for a smooth skinned look?
@Phyrra I very recently found an oil blotting product that also works as a ‘primer’ & pore minimizer if used correctly. Meaning ‘off label’ technique. It’s called Nurturing Force Blot Out. I apply a really light coat of that on my unmoisturized skin – my foundation & this have enough moisturization to them. It immediately sets to a matte finish. I then press my custom mixed powder into it & dust off the excess. Then mist with one of my setting sprays, either one I found here that’s from Taiwan or Skindinavia for oily skin. I press that into my skin with an Alcone sponge so it’s evenly distributed. Wait a few secs to dry & then stipple on my French wax based foundation – spectacular stuff! Then set that with a tiny bit of MAC Natural Skin Finish. Mist again & press in with the same sponge. Then finish with my custom powder & dust off excess. Mist one last time LOL Yes, I know it sounds like a crazy amount of steps & like my skin must be caked with product, but because all the products are applied in extremely thin layers & I’m using a pressing & misting technique, it really isn’t caked on or nasty looking. The setting mists help everything meld together really well. This is what I do if I want my makeup to not have oil breakthrough for several hours if I’m going to a celebration or something like that. If it’s just everyday makeup & I’m not going to be out all night, I cut out a few of the steps. I’ve been experimenting with my oil oil control products as well, mixing them up from scratch. They’re getting there. At some point I’m going to start selling my own oil control powder & oil control & moisturizing setting sprays. I figure I’ve put so much time into developing them for myself that I might as well turn it into a business. It’s really hard to find high quality products for oily, breakout prone skin that actually work as promised.
Hello! Is this a similar shade to NARS Sheer Glow’s Siberia? It is the only perfect match I’ve found for over 10 years.
Thanks in advance!
Yes, this is a similar shade to me.
