Silk Naturals Spring Colors Swatches and Review

I finally have the Silk Naturals Spring 2012 swatched for you. I really love the glimmer shades!

Hi-Res
Hi-Res is a raspberry red with lots of deeper red glimmers.

My Take
Sparkly raspberry red.

Wild Child
Wild Child is a bright orange with lots and lots of sparkles.

My Take
Bright, rich sparkly orange.

Rattle
Rattle is essentially a “lime yellow” tone- with lots and lots of glimmer.

My Take
Sparkly yellow with green undertones.

Ruffian
Ruffian is a stunning blue with lots and lots of glimmers.

My Take
Sparkly bright sky blue.

Kick
Kick is a bright purple with lots and lots of purple and blue glimmers.

My Take
Sparkly purple with blue, purple and violet glimmers.

Driftwood
Driftwood is a medium deep ashy brown color with a Mattelight finish.

My Take
Soft brown that will make a perfect soft crease shade.

Kind
Kind is gorgeous light warmish taupe with a smidge of coppery highlights.

My Take
Pale light taupe with subtle shimmer.
Berwick
Berwick is a deeper blue purple with golden bronze shimmer.  It has sort of a suede finish- it’s essentially matte but with pebbly flecks of shimmer.

My Take
Deep bronzed brown with slight gold shimmers.

Airy
I’m not sure if Airy is supposed to be Calm, so I don’t know the official description for this one.

My Take
Soft, pale blue with subtle shimmer.

Hey Baby – Kissable Cream
Hey Baby is a sheer nude tan lip gloss with a creamy smooth texture, and a light cocoa butter scent.

My Take:
A sheer nude tan describes it perfect.

Twirl – Kissable Cream
Twirl is a creamy peach coral shade with just a tiny little bit of shimmer added to the creamy finish.

My Take
Light creamy coral with peach tones. I actually love this one and think it’s a perfect ‘nude’ lip color for me. It reminds me a bit of MAC Blossom Culture.

Grenache – Kissable Cream
Grenache is a sheer cool red tone with a hint purple and dash of shimmer.

My Take
Cool red that leans pink.

As you know, I recently did a Rainbow eye on Memorial Day with the glimmers. It was pretty much effortless because of how easily the colors blended together.

So I must tell you how awesome Kick looks. It’s such an awesome purple! I love purples like that :)

As usual, I’m thrilled with the quality of Silk Naturals. The lip products are hydrating and they have a nice creamy finish. The eye shadow colors are clear, bright and cheerful. I think they’re lovely.

What do you think of these colors?

Some products purchased by me. Some products sent for consideration. All opinions are my own.

Every time I see the rainbow eye look, I think about how amazing it looks! I’d try it myself, but I think I’m missing a few shades.

I still need to pick up up Kick and Ruffian! I got Rattle as the freebie with my last order (MOAR yellow green EEEE!)

I love love love love love Silk Naturals. I find myself continually using more and more of their stuff. A good percentage of my skin care comes from SN, my foundation and brows are always SN, and I of course lurrrrve their eyeshadows. I love their blushes too but I don’t have any full sizes yet so i tend to get distracted by my Meow Cosmetics stuff! (SN lippies are of course also amazing but I tend not to do lip products most days!)

I love that I can put in an order to replenish all of my skincare and foundation supplies and then get a bonus free eyeshadow or balm, because I always make sure I spend $30 or more.

I love SN, their shadows seem like they’re getting a bit more interesting too now :)

When you previewed the glimmer shades earlier, I wound up placing an order because I am just that susceptible to rainbowness ;D I also bought Twirl and Grenache (and the Panache blush, on your suggestion, which I wore the other day and it did work pretty well with the theme I was going for!). I have no regrets, because everything is just so gorgeous.
