Blue Screen Of Death… and Ponies!

Today I’m happy because I’m trying out a new company called Pretty Serious  by one of my favorite nail bloggers, Pretty Random. So I used 3 of her shades: BSOD (blue screen of death), CGA and Forbidden Fruit. Ray said it looked a little My Little Pony, because of the pinkish-purple shade.

  • Too Faced Shadow Insurance Lemon Drop
  • Pretty Serious BSOD – crease, outer corner of lid, outer lower lash line
  • Pretty Serious CGA – lid (with MAC Fix+), upper crease, middle of lower lash line
  • Pretty Serious Forbidden Fruit – browbone, inner v
  • Tarina Tarantino Eyeliner in Tommy Jet – upper lash line and lower waterline
  • Sugarpill Velocity – to define brows
  • LashControl Clear – to hold brows
  • LashControl Volumizing Mascara

  • Too Faced Amazing Face Liquid Foundation in Vanilla Cream mixed with Face Atelier Ultra Foundation in Zero Minus
  • Silk Naturals Oil Control Blur mixed with Aromaleigh Peaches & Cream URFP

  • tarte glisten blush

  • Illamasqua medium pencil in Bait
  • Pretty Serious gloss in BSOD

BSOD eyeshadow  is very very bright and sparkly. It’s Sugarpill bright.

BSOD gloss looks awesome layered over my hot pink pencil in Bait. I like the purple lips, which I think reinforce the My Little Pony feel.

What’cha think?

I absolutely love how bright BSOD is. It is clearly My Little Pony in a not-so-clever disguise.

Hi Phyrra! I’m a bit of a newbie to your blog and I was wondering who Ray is? I’ve seen you mention that person a few times but still don’t know who it is :p curious!

Crazy cool blending though I don’t like that shade of purple.

I LOVE the purple halo-ing the whole look. Gorgeous!

I don’t love some of LiveFyre’s limitations (username cannot contain a dash? Only 24 characters?) but I like that it lets me log in with my Twitter credentials. Programs know that we already have enough usernames and passwords to remember!
I like the colors, and the combination! I also really admire your tightlining skills. I have the worst time applying eyeliner. (I think I’m just going to have to accept that shaky hands make that all but impossible for me.)

@Sparklecrack Central I’m hoping that people will be more inclined to comment with livefyre because of the multiple login options. Also, the glide on the Tarina Tarantino pencils is really great. Check out the black :)

I love everything about this look! I love Kaz and her blog and was so excited when she started her company. The only reason I haven’t placed an order is because I can’t narrow down my wishlist!

         @Jessi M I’d definitely recommend these three shades :)
