Recently I saw Siryn’s lovely eye swatch of Fyrinnae Sorceress and I realized I haven’t worn it in forever! So I decided to wear it today. If you’re not reading Siryn‘s blog, you’re missing out! You should check her out. She’s a gorgeous makeup artist who does wonderful looks. She does comic book and fantasy inspired looks.
Sorceress is now described as a soft black shadow with shimmer which changes from a brilliant aqua to vibrant cool pink, depending on light and angle. I couldn’t coax the pink to show up, but I do love the depth and beauty of this shadow in my look.
Lots of pictures, as usual. This is what I wore on Thursday when I hung out with Cristina from Let Them Have Polish. I had a great time with her!
What do you think of this look? Also, I hope one of my favorite indie companies comes out with their own version of Urban Decay’s Mushroom and Walk of Shame. I really do love how Sorceress looks with my eyes.

I think this is one of my favourite looks on you! Love it in combination with your awesome hair!
@morganlefay Thank you
Such an intense colour, it looks heavenly. Kinda reminds me of Armani’s Obsidian Black Seaweed, too!
@theannamontana Thanks Anna! I <3 it. I really enjoy these complex dark shades.
Deep, smokey, and HOT! I love this!
@WendiThroatPunchGirven Rawr! Blue is sexy.
Oh man…this is soooo good. Kinda smoky, definitely colorful, dramatic – this look has it all. LUV!!
@RiffRaffRanch Thank you! I love how this turned out
What an amazing look on you! I never would have thought of using Mushroom, but it looks perfect.
@Sarsie Mushroom seems to blend out colors easily in my crease.
@Phyrra Right now, I have Mushroom in the discontinued eyeshadow cream formula from UD. I’d already made up my mind to find a similar color in a powder once I used it up, but now that UD reversed their decision to sell in China, I can actually buy Mushroom (gasp!). I never would have thought to pair it with Sorceress, but you’ve inspired me.
@Sarsie Thanks it really seems to work to blend in the crease for me!
Beautiful look! Sorceress is such an amazing eyeshadow! I love it but I find it really dark and hard to use in a look :o)
@Lutrinae I think it looks great like this, as a sort of one color wash type effect.
Wow I am loving Sorceress! So it changes in color? I think I must have it. It looks amazing on you!
@Shades_Of_U Thank you! Yes, if you change it and move it closer to a lamp light source, it will take on a pink hue. I couldn’t manage to capture it on camera on my own, I need to practice more.
