Not too long ago I had the opportunity to try out the Japonesque Safari Chic Bronzer Brush. It’s a cruelty-free brush with a kick! It’s got an adorable animal print pattern.

It’s really more of a kabuki brush, in my opinion, and I used it to apply Meow Pampered Puss foundation – which seemed appropriate! It’s ultra soft, like most of my good synthetic brushes. It could probably be used with a light hand to apply a bronzer, but I’d stick to foundations or maybe a finishing veil with it. The bristles are packed together nicely. So far, it hasn’t shed.

The Japonesque Safari Chic Bronzer Brush is currently for sale at Ulta.
It retails for $22.

There’s also a trio set that comes with a powder brush, shadow brush, and crease brush that are also in animal print. The powder brush in that set looks like it would be more suited to blush application.

This is my first Japonesque brush and I have to say that I’m impressed. I love the look and feel of the brush.

What do you think of Japonesque? Do you like the Safari Chic collection?
