Sea Siren Tutorial

When I sat down to play with makeup the other night, I just sort of reached for colors and played around to see what I’d come up with. I knew I wanted Fyrinnae Bitey Tyrannosaur but I wasn’t sure what else. I went for a fantasy look with my skin, working to achieve a pearlescent glow. I really liked the effect.

Also, I love how my lips turned out. This was so much fun to do.

How to achieve the look:

  1. Apply Too Faced Shadow Insurance Candlelight.
  2. Apply NARS Bombshell to the lid.
  3. Softly apply Fyrinnae Bitey Tyrannosaur to the lower browbone / upper crease area.
  4. Softly apply Glamour Doll Eyes Calypso to the lower crease, outer v, outer corner of the lid and the outer lower lash line.
  5. Spritz MAC Fix+ on your brush and add more Bitey Tyrannosaur to the browbone.
  6. Dab Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy onto the lower crease, outer corner of the lid and outer lower lash line.
  7. Brush Calyspo on top of the Pixie Epoxy to intensify the teal crease.
  8. Apply Bombshell to the inner v and inner lower lash line.
  9. Apply Femme Fatale Genesis to the inner upper crease and the middle of the lower lash line.
  10. With MAC Fix+ spritzed on the brush, apply Tarina Tarantino Sparklicity Pure Opal to the middle and outer lid, and middle and outer crease.
  11. Fill in your brows with Sugarpill Velocity and highlight under the brow with BftE Glistening.
  12. Line the upper lash line with Too Faced 3 Way liner, thickening at the outer corner.
  13. With the 3 way liner, draw a line under the eye, extending it inward and outwards.
  14. Add some Illamasqua Vow to your lower waterline and mascara, and you’re done!

That liner is perfect! I’m sort of marveling at it, you must have a much steadier hand then I. XD

SpiceDropBlog Aw thanks! The Too Faced 3 Way Liner is actually really easy to draw with, so that helped :)

Love this!  I always love how you match your eyebrows.  I think it looks weird to see people with bright coloured hair and brown eyebrows.  Your hair looks really cute with this look too.

Gabrielle_ Yay thanks Gabrielle! I know I get haters online for matching my brows, but I like it when they match.

        • Gabrielle_

Phyrra Haters!  That’s terrible!  I mean, of course people know that there’s no way blue (purple, pink, etc) hair is natural, so your brows wouldn’t naturally be blue either, but I agree with you that it looks better.  I always tint my brows red whenever I dye my hair red.

Gabrielle_ Some people are creeped out by glitter brows, blue brows, etc. I just think it looks better, most of the time, to color my brows to match!
