BftE Smokin’ Wizard’s Wand Tutorial

I had fun putting together a smokin’ look with BftE eyeshadows. I wanted to use Wizard’s Wand as the main color and I wanted to make it a daytime / work safe look, so this is what I came up with.

How to Achieve the look:

  1. Apply Too Faced Shadow Insurance eye primer.
  2. With a fluffy brush, apply BftE Caffe Latte from the lashline to the browbone, leaving a bit of space under the eyebrows for a highlight.
  3. Using Urban Decay 24/7 Perversion liner, line the outer half of the upper and lower lashline, then smudge it to soften it.
  4. Sweep BftE Wizard’s Wand onto the lid, the inner v, the lower lash line, and the outer lid, working it into Perversion liner. Blend Wizard’s Wand into the crease.
  5. Apply BftE Espresso to the crease and outer corner of the lid, blending well with Wizard’s Wand and Caffe Latte.
  6. Highlight the browbone and the inner corner of the eye with BftE Butt Naked.
  7. Line the waterlines with Perversion liner and groom your brows. Finish with mascara!

These tutorials are my favorite part of your blog because this is where I get inspiration to do my eye makeup in different ways, blending colors I normally wouldn’t think would look good together, and you go step by step, making it very easy for even a spazz like me to understand. I also like the fact that you list every product and brush you use to create the look. There’s nothing worse than seeing a blogger wearing a certain make up but they don’t tell you the color. And finally, you always take a palette and do many different styles with it, showing your fans how they can get the best usage of that product. I love your blog in general, but the swatches and tutorials are my favorites (well and winning a contest every once in a while). I come to your website by way of beautyjunkies unite.  I’ve meant to comment before, but time always seems to get away from me.  However, I had to post something about how fabulous your HAIR looks! It’s great to see a young woman with enough self confidence to wear her hair how she chooses.  It’s Awesome with a capital A.  This second comment is LONG overdue, but I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your blog on the Babylon 5 pigments.  I loved (LOVED) Babylon 5 and couldn’t believe it when I saw a makeup tie in.  It was even an article about makeup that I could share with my nerd husband that kept his interest.  Thanks for the great blogs.  You have a new fan!
