Darling Minx

My allergies are incredibly bad today. Eyeliner on the waterline has been bothering me lately, so I skipped that for today’s look. I opted to play around with some colors for a soft teal cat eye.

How to Achieve the Look:

  1. Prep the eye area with Too Faced Shadow Insurance and then add a thin layer of Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy to the lid.
  2. Apply Urban Decay Minx to the inner half of the lid and Sugarpill Darling to the outer half of the lid.
  3. Apply Too Faced Candlelight Duo golden side to the browbone, blending downward.
  4. With a rounded fluffy crease brush, apply Sugarpill Magpie to the crease. I blended it out into a sort of cat eye shape.
  5. With a smaller fluffy brush, blend Minx into the upper crease.
  6. Apply Too Faced Perfect Peacock liner to the lower lash line.
  7. Smudge Magpie on top of Perfect Peacock along the lower lash line and add Too Faced Heaven to the inner v.
  8. Throw on some mascara and you’re ready!

Stunning as always! I love wearing Starling and Magpie together.

Oh Phyrra, you’re a trooper. I don’t think I could stand having eye makeup on if my eyes were irritated.

I need to try teals and blues more often. My favorite blue ever is the good ole Sea and Sky from MAC. I just love it. I have a teal very much like this and am inspired to wear it in my next video:) Thanks!

Wow, when my eyes get irritated I can’t even wear mascara without it ending up all over my face haha :) you’re tough! I love how you mixed the lip tars together, it’s such a pretty colour!

Looks so pretty with your hair!

I’ve had allergies/sinus problems like crazy this year, hate it.

I rarely am bothered by allergies but this season has given me grief. And poor Libby, it just brings on her asthma so much. :(

On the bright side, I like the shadows and that lip color…HOT!

Love these colors with that lippie! And the day I learn to blend like you…I’ll be a happy woman!

I LOVE the shape you’ve created with just shadow and no liner!! I’m so glad you’ve done a tutorial for this one, love love love it. I’m with Brittany above, if I could apply and blend like you… I’d also be a very happy woman.

Such beautiful colors in this look! Personally I rarely wear something on my waterline as I have dry eyes that get irritated easily. It’s nice to see a colorful look like this that works so well without an eyeliner.
