Erin from Dorian & Dahl has created a wonderful, girly, sweet and warm scent called Dame Caniche. The art is one of my favorite pictures of Phaedra. I love the modified continental cut (no hip rosettes).
I cannot WAIT to try it! I love the scent notes. Oh! By the way, Dorian & Dahl is having a 25% off sale on Sept. 1, 2012. Also, don’t forget to enter the LE Harvest Blend competition (ends Sept. 1)! It’s a contest to come up with your own scent blend and name it.
Inspired the beautiful and talented Phyrra, Dame Caniche is the quintessential girly scent with out being being overly sweet.
Decadent almond creme brulee sweetens spiced pears and juicy raspberries while warm sandalwood and a fresh bouquet of frangipani and hibiscus florals waft through Egyptian musk soaked amber.
The perfect scent for bold beauties!

I’m bummed that there aren’t any sample options. I will not buy a full sized perfume unless I can test it on my skin first. In my most recent perfume buy (all samples), there was one that I was incredibly excited for, because the notes and description sounded like exactly what I should smell like. When I smelled it in the vial, I was even more excited. It smelled better than I could have imagined. Then I put it on and all I got was powdery old lady smell. It was an incredible bummer, but at least it was only a sample so I wasn’t out $15 or anything. This perfume sounds amazing, but I just don’t trust descriptions considering how varied body chemistry is.
Maybe email Erin and see?
Hi! Currently, I am out of sample vials. However, they have been ordered. When they come in, the sample sets will be listed again. For the sale, however, they will be listed in limited quantity; four of each sample set will be available. This *may* change depending on the demand.
That sounds like a great combination.
Did you get to collaborate on it?
Do you know the origin of the name?
I suggested scent notes I liked for it. Also, the name means Poodle Lady Caniche means poodle.
This sounds like something I’d like! I’d love to try some of these perfumes in the future, you wrote about a few in the past that seemed just right for me too
They really are nice!
