Inglot Sunny Meadow Tutorial

I find yellow hard to wear, so I wanted to challenge myself to wear yellow and pair it with green,  a color I’m way more comfortable wearing. Anyway, Inglot is having a sale right now with the code BIRTHDAY. Hopefully this will pique your interest in Inglot shadows. I really adore this Polish brand!

How to achieve the look:

  1. Prep the eye with Too Faced Shadow Insurance.
  2. With a fluffy brush, lightly apply Makeup Geek Beaches & Cream onto the upper crease and lower browbone.
  3. Apply Inglot Double Sparkle 474 to the lid and inner v.
  4. With a fluffy brush, apply Inglot AMC 58 to the outer corner of the lid, the outer crease, blending inward.
  5. With a pointed crease brush, apply Inglot AMC 57 to the lower crease, all the way across.
  6. Use a fluffy brush to apply more Inglot AMC 58 to the crease.
  7. Apply Inglot Double Sparkle 477 to the upper crease with a fluffy brush.
  8. Apply a tiny bit of Inglot AMC 59 to the uppermost crease.
  9. Thickly apply Urban Decay 24/7 Perversion liner to the outer upper and lower lash line.
  10. Apply BftE Glistening to the browbone, Perversion liner to the lower waterline and add some mascara to your lashes.
  11. Highlight at the inner corner with BftE Glistening and you’re done!

Love the look, but I really want to say that your skin looks fantastic! So smooth and glowing. May I ask what your skincare routine is nowadays, given the heat of Florida (LOL). I ‘m in the same state, in Tampa Bay, and absolutely hate the heat and humidity. My sunscreen budget is nearly as high as my electric bill! ^^

      • http://www.Phyrra.net/ Phyrra

Sandy615 Sure! Right now I’m using Supergoop SPF 50 for my face, along with Yes to Blueberries Intensive Repair Serum (because I needed more moisture), during the day. At night I’m using Paula’s Choice RESIST Intensive Wrinkle-Repair Retinol Serum and RESIST Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator. For cleanser I’m using the Paula’s Choice Earth Sourced Perfectly Natural Cleansing Gel. I’m also alternating between Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Gel Exfoliant and St. Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Scrub. My holy grail moisturizer with SPF is still LaVanila the Healthy Face SPF 40, but for some reason right now I’m too oily if I’m using it, which is why I’m experimenting with another combination. Let me know if this helps. Oh! All the Paula’s Choice products (except the exfoliant) can be used on your eyes and neck, in addition to your face.

Nice! IMHO there’s not too much yellow, just enough for a really distinctive look. You should wear yellow shades more often!

NoorInNJ  Aw thank you! I find Yellow almost as hard to wear as orange.

I want some Inglot now, if I didn’t already. Unfortunately, I just bought a new coffee maker (priorities), so it will have to wait a bit. I love the colors! I should do yellow more often (I use gold most of the time, though I love Sugarpill Buttercupcakes); my eyes are a true green (as distinct from hazel or blue-green), so it looks all right.

xifeng Aww, Inglot is even having a sale right now. But yay for caffeine :)

    • Oleander

I’m bad at using yellow, too. I might have to give this look a try, it looks amazing on you!

        Oleander Thank you Oleander :)

    • Lisa Brown

Wow, that is an outstanding look. Very vibrant. I have never used a yellow like that. Very creative.

        Lisa Brown Thanks Lisa!

I think Sunny Meadow is the perfect name for this tutorial! I rarely use yellow, either – I think it is the worst color for my skintone. Oddly, it doesn’t look too bad in eyeshadow form…I should try it more!I don’t have any Inglot shadows, despite all of the raves. I need to get with the program!

misfitgirlie Thanks :) You should! They’re on sale right now!

    • olgiepolgie

    • LillianFunnyFace

This is great! I love yellow with green :)

      • http://www.Phyrra.net/ Phyrra

LillianFunnyFace Thanks Lillian! I find yellow hard to wear but green easy, so I figured it was a natural combo.
