Last Saturday I went to visit my cousins in Shelbyville, IN. I had a fabulous time and was so happy to actually get to spend time with them. My grandma had a great time, too. I put together a fairly quick and easy look. I used my travel camera, a Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS 12 MP.

Great look! It’s nice to see you in neutrals for a change.I just lost my own grandma (she was a nursing home resident and had been in poor health for a long time, so no huge shock to us, but still…) so my advice to you is to enjoy these years as much as you can.
NoorInNJ I always have. I used to live with my Grandma. She’s pretty awesome. She’s 89 this year!
I love this look! Its funny I just came home from visiting my grandmother too.
SpiceDropBlog I love my Grandma
What a pretty look. Neutral but the teal looking color on the bottom gives it a pop of color, which is nice.
Lisa Brown thanks Lisa
I love this neutral look with a pop of color!
roxcat Thanks Roxcat!
This is so super pretty! FABULOUS blending!
erinforevermore Freestyle made it effortless, seriously.
It’s gorgeous! The color fits in, it doesn’t clash or look off. Your application is always amazing, too.I grew up near Shelbyville, I’m sure you had the best look in a forty mile radius.
Oleander Aww thank you!
wow I love this look – now it makes me want to get that palette for sure
studiodummies I am so in love with the palette. I think you’ll enjoy it.
Even though it is pretty simple, this is one of the BEST looks you’ve done. The blending is great, and your eyes look brightened.
prettymaking Thanks! I actually feel like my Nereid look here:http://www.phyrra.net/2012/07/sugarpill-nereid-tutorial.htmlor my Parrot look here:http://www.phyrra.net/2012/07/sugarpill-eclectus-parrot-tutorial.htmlare the best blending that I’ve done lately. This wasn’t really blending so much as I just put down Freestyle on most of my eye area, and then patted on Backdoor on the outer part of the eye
I always lol when people mention Shelbyville (lolmom’s family lived there when she was in high school and college). It’s a small world after all! I know you said there wasn’t much blending involved, but it LOOKS blended! The second-to-last photo reminds me of awesome ’80s eyeshadow. Plus, the teal/grey liner brings out the green in your eyes.
xifeng Aww thank you!
Love this look
Catherine bcf Thank you!
This is so cute! I love it! I am so doing this for work tomorrow.
lovelyandroid I hope it turns out great for you
I love soft but smoky looks like this. I need to remember this instead of slapping on the bright teal everyday (not that that’s a bad thing…)!
Janna423 Definitely nothing wrong with brights!
Argh I’d resolved that I didn’t need Smoked because I already have five of the colors, but everyone’s loving the new colors so much! I’ve heard the BOS V is supposed to be out for Christmas, I hope-hope-hope it has at least two of these new colors in it. I’m not made of money, UD.
Oleander I looove this palette! I highly recommend it.
