Sephora, Nylon Magazine and Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics collaborated to create the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Nylon Lip Tar. Its debut marks the release of OCC Lip Tars to be sold at Sephora. I find this very exciting as I’ve finally gotten the hang of Lip tars and love them!
OCC Nylon Lip Tar is described as a classic bubblegum pink with a neon twist.
Here I’ve got OCC Nylon Lip Tar next to my OCC Anime Lip Tar. Anime is described as a seriously neon pink.
I swatched OCC Nylon Lip Tar in the center, surrounded by similar shades. OCC Anime Lip Tar is darker, but still very bright. MAC Candy Yum Yum is the most similar, but it’s more matte. I also swatched MAC Show Orchid and Morgana Cryptoria Far Out.
Here’s another show of the hands.
I think that Nylon is perfectly suited to my coloring! I’d swear it was made for me.
Also, I made a video to go along with this post. If you like it, please thumbs up
Nylon is available for purchase for $16 from Sephora.com.
OCC is cruelty-free. Products purchased by me. All opinions are my own.

I love that color on you! You wear bright pinks very well. (I also really like the necklace you have on in the last photo.)
Thank you TrippyPixie!
Thumbs up! I love bright, and would wear Anime – price?! What nail color are you wearing in the above photo, please?
Anime is $15 from OCCMakeup.com and Nylon is $15 from Sephora.com
The Nails are all Cult Nails – broke down in this post:
I just got my shipping notice from sephora, can’t wait to try this out!
I bet it will look great on you Ayesha!
Omg, this color is uber gorgeous! Love it.
Its beautiful on you! Candy yum yum is my best friends favorite lipstick, I’ll have to recommend this to her. She love the color but not how dry MAC’s matte lipsticks are.
Yay! I bet she’ll like Nylon
It’s official. I need it. I’ll probably never comfortably wear it b/c it looks too blue for my complexion but I want it anyway!
I bet you can rock it!
THE COLORS ARE JUST SO NICE!!! Too bad we don’t have that in our country. You look so beautiful too:)
Aww thanks Jean! I’m going to swatch it next to Fyrinnae Less Than Three because I just realized that I think it’s close, too.
So pretty! Thanks for the comparison swatches too, super helpful!
You’re welcome Margo!
:O I love all those colors on your eyes.
It looks awesome
I really like the shade but I don’t think I’m bold enough to wear it and it’d be a shame to buy it just for mixing! But I’ve worn Anime a couple of times and it’s really lovely. Lip tars feather like crazy on me… even if apply the tiniest amount with a lip brush… and apparently from some reviews Nylon even more so! Elf Studio’s Lip Lock is indispensable if I’m wearing Lip Tars, at least for me. It’s the best budget product I’ve ever found for feathering problems.
Lip Lock is a good suggestion!
Thank you so much for actually showing swatches on your lips!!
You’re welcome Melody
as I said on fb, this look is very Phyrra-ish XD
and this lip tar was made for you, really <3
Aww thank you Misato-san!
I love it! I’m a fan of hot pinks and really need to invest in some. Hot pinks suit you so well.
Yay thanks Leah!
I have never tried one of the Lip Tars! They look amazing!
You should definitely check them out Emily!
You look gorgeous. I NEED Nylon!
Yes you do Lillian!

Ahhh I love it! I have never owned any OCC Lip Tars, but I am afraid I will have to pick this one up! <3 Thanks for the swatches and comparisons!
You’re welcome Brittany
I think I’d personally prefer Anime for myself, but Nylon is, indeed, perfect for you!
