Orchid Series – Sunny Days Orchids

For the next installment in my orchid series, I chose Sunny Days Orchids, which are a yellow green color. I couldn’t think of a better color to represent them than Sugarpill Acidberry. Since my allergies are still crazy, I had to do minimal mascara and minimal liner. My skin is hating my rosacea medications, specifically the Aczone 5% gel. It’s making my skin dry and flaky! Yuck.

Slightly blurry, but I like how it turned out.

How to Achieve the Look:

  1. Prep the eyes with Too Faced Shadow Insurance.
  2. With a fluffy brush apply Sugarpill Tako to the browbone and the inner lid.
  3. Apply Sugarpill Acidberry to the lid and crease.
  4. With a fluffy brush, blend out the upper crease with Sugarpill Buttercupcake.
  5. With a small crease brush apply Midori to the outer crease.
  6. Use Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Graffiti on the outer upper and lower lash line.
  7. With a smudge brush, smudge Acidberry on top of Graffiti.
  8. Add Mascara to your lashes.
  9. Line the lower waterline with Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Yeyo.

I love the chartreuse green on you! This orchid series is really cool. I just spend like 30 minutes looking at pictures of orchids! Here is one that I thought was really interesting- http://www.orchidspecies.com/cataclandiae.htm

I love this!! It looks so good on you and goes so well with Radiate! Really loving green lately so I was very excited to see a green orchid look. By the way, your skin looks great, I can’t tell that the meds are giving you bother – chin up, it’ll sort itself out soon and hopefully the allergies will go away, too!

      • Phyrra

Thanks! I’m peeling a lot, so it’s frustrating.

Pretty! I like the lip color combo, too, as Adeline said above.
I feel like I just have to buy the other two Sugarpill palettes (I have Heartbreaker) so that I can have at least some of all their awesome shades available to me. Seriously.

      • Phyrra

Thank you <3 Yes, the palettes are a good deal.
