For my BFF’s wedding, I went for a smoky eye with teal cat eye liner. I based it off of one of the looks in the UD Smoked Palette book and I used the Smoked Palette for it. Apologies for the pictures being from my travel camera and not my DSLR. That said, I absolutely love this look. I love how it turned out.
I really love how this turned out and I got a ton of compliments on it. What do you think of it? Would you wear it?
Some products purchased by me. Some products sent for consideration. All opinions are my own.

Emi at Project Swatch Thank you Emi!
Wow, you looked beautiful! Hope you had fun at the wedding!
RedLipsBlakHair I had a wonderful time! I was so happy to see my BFF get married.
So beautiful, I love the shape you did for the crease color!
roxcat Thanks Roxcat! I may try and recreate it again with classic black liner.
I also really love the way you shaped the crease colour! Would totally wear this – day or night! Gorgeous as always!
trumpette Thank you! I felt really pretty
I am really loving eye makeup that involves any type of teal. it also makes for a good transition from summer to fall.
ItsJustDi Thank you!
I would wear it if I could reproduce it! >_< I do love the shadowy cat eye and the way you brought it down to accentuate the inner part of your eye, too!
Ciambella I’ll do a tutorial for you
I love the way you squared the shadow and liner off. I don’t think I could wear this, but it looks lovely on you!
tormarie Thank you!
I love love love this look. As much as I love your really bright looks, this one is just so gorgeous and flattering. Your skin looks extra radiant, too.
Jessi M Aww thanks Jessi!
This is stunning. I’m especially digging that your eyes look the same color as mine!
aitch77 Mine are blue-green. They pull blue or green depending on what I wear
The teal liner is GORGEOUS on you! I love colorful liners so this is definitely something I’d like to try!
Mostly Sunny thank you
I love that look! Gorgeous, wearable even for folks who prefer to use the bolder shades a little more sparingly, and a great way to further jazz up a semi-duochrome taupe. I may try recreating it with shadows I have – I think Damn Paladins might work for the taupe, and I’ll probably choose a slightly darker teal for the liner since I think DP is a darker color than the one you used.
Sparklecrack Central Yay! yes!
Beautiful! Yes, I would wear it! I am getting that UD Smoked palette! I got a Sephora gift card for my birthday and started squealing when I opened it because I said there is a palette I want but couldn’t afford! Then all the girls started asking which one and I told them and all the men tuned out, haha. Wish they sold that Junkie liner, as well, grr!
misfitgirlie Keep an eye out for the junkie liner set, it was only $18 at Nordstrom Rack and I’ve seen it on sale at Hautelook. Might be on sale at UD.com right now.
I can see why you got a ton of compliments! Love it!!
Moxiereviews Thanks Moxie!
