Addiction NV A Little Bit Of... Foundation Review

Recently I had the opportunity to try out Addiction NV A Little Bit Of… Foundation in Pat. Addiction NV Cosmetics is a mineral makeup company from Huntington Beach that launched in 2006.

Each shade is named after some of our favorite boys. Why? Because these boys have the same special traits:

Pat – very fair / light with natural undertones
Michael – fair / ivory with yellow undertones

Does it live up to its claims?
Yes! It says it has the best qualities of foundation, concealer and powder in one, along with self-adjusting properties. I can’t speak to the self-adjusting properties , but Pat is an excellent color match on me. It is really good coverage without feeling heavy or cakey.

I apply A Little Bit Of foundation with either my Urban Decay Optical Blurring brush or my Beau-make flat top synthetic kabuki brush.. I dot it on my t-zone and under the eyes, then blend in circles. The result is great looking skin. I feel like this foundation gives me enough coverage that I don’t need concealer.

Because A Little Bit Of… only comes in 6 shades, I do feel the shade range is a bit limited. That said, it does claim to be color adjusting. As I’ve only tried the shade Pat, I can’t really comment on the color adjusting, though I do feel like Pat matches me nicely.

After 8 hours of wear with no primer or finisher, just the plain foundation.

After 8 hours of wear, it could use a bit of a touch up, but it doesn’t look awful.

After 8 hours of wear with primer. Also wearing Illamasqua Cream blush in Crush and Urban Decay Moonshine highlighter.

Would I purchase?
Yes! I love the look and feel of this foundation on my skin. I’m really impressed with Addiction NV and I think this is a nice product.
