How to Transition Your Long Hair from Day to Night

I was contacted by StyleHaul and asked if I wanted to share this hair tip video about how to transition your long hair from day to night. I watched the video and I liked the tips, so I also summarized them here.

Start with the easy messy ponytail.

A few hours later, wrap a piece of your hair around the ponytail holder to hide it, using a bobby pin to hold it in place. Braid the rest of your hair and tie the end with a ponytail holder.

A few hours later wrap it up into a sleek bob, using bobby pins to hold it in place.

By the time night rolls around, your hair will have lovely waves, so take out the pins and the ponytail holders, run your fingers through it and you’re ready for some night fun.

For short hair, I think you’re better off with volumizing hair powder. Put some in your hair and puff it out. Toss it in your purse and take it with you for any touchups you need.

Hi Rachel, no I was not. If I had been, I would have said that it was a sponsored post.
