It’s time for another round of Makeup Wars. This time we’re showing off our Favorite Fall Nail Colors!

Row 1: Orly Prisma Gloss Gold – Pretty Serious Morning Java – NARS Desperado – Cult Nails Iconic – Cult Nails Let Me Fly – Cult Nails Living Water
Row 2: butter London Wallis – butter London the Full Monty – Nubar Gold Leaf – Nubar Peacock Feathers? – Rimmel 615 Night Before – Sally Hansen Burgundy Orchid

Now, I’m never good at choosing just one thing. Ever. So these are my favorite colors for Fall. A few colors are transitional and can be worn all year round, such as Cult Nails Let Me Fly and butter London the Full Monty. Also, I layer Orly Prisma Gloss Gold (or Silver) over nearly everything I own.

Some of these polishes I’ve had for years, others are new. Sally Hansen Burgundy Orchid (I used to have this entire line and threw out a bunch of them because I didn’t know that you could revive old, goopy nail polish!) is a long-time favorite of mine and I really wish some indie company would create a cruelty-free duochrome like this shade. Burgundy Orchid shifts between a beautiful burgundy red and purple. It’s not big 3 free, it’s really stinky, but it’s super pretty.

Cult Nails Iconic is a gorgeous berry red crème combines with stunning gold shimmer and red flakes. I put a layer of Orly Prisma Gloss Gold on top for a bit of extra gold shimmer, because I think that makes it more suitable for Fall.

Nubar Gold Leaf was my first Nubar Polish, and very nearly my last! I had HORRIBLE customer service from them and have been hesitant to purchase their products ever since, despite loving this polish so much. It’s a wonderful amber with burgundy around the edges and gold highlights. It’s breathtaking and I love it for Fall. It’s too bad, really, because they have gorgeous polishes.

Nubar Peacock Feather. I’m not actually sure that this polish is named Peacock Feather. The name of the polish fell off the bottle (poor design in my opinion). But it’s a gorgeous color. It’s a teal blue base with purple and blue shimmer.

Rimmel 615 Night Before. This is a gorgeous inky indigo and purple duochrome. It’s nearly opaque in one coat.

Pretty Serious Morning Java with a coat of Orly Prisma Gloss Gold. This is another color that screams Fall to me. It’s a rich coffee brown with golden bronze flecks.

butter London Wallis. It’s a tarnished, metallic olive gold nail lacquer. I love that it’s such a complex color.

butter London the Full Monty. It’s a pale neutral molten gold. I love it. It’s definitely classy.

NARS Desperado. I went hunting down this rich, complex golden shade. It’s got amber, pale gold, and rich caramel tones. This is my Preciousssssssssssssssssssss. Seriously though, it should be part of the core collection, it’s so gorgeous!

Cult Nails Let Me Fly. I put a coat of Orly Prisma Gloss Gold on top. I LOVE this teal. It’s so awesome. It’s perfect all year round. I especially love it for Summer or Fall.

Cult Nails Living Water. I need to figure out how to apply it sheerly to all of my nails like above on the nail wheel. It’s beautiful! I love deep dark teals. They seem perfect for Fall or Winter.

Ahh, duochromes, teals, golds and burgundies! Perfect shades for Fall. These are my favorites for the best Fall nail polish shades.
