Urban Decay Skimp, Bordello, Deeper Look

I wore this out Friday but I wasn’t very happy with how it turned out. This is why I tend to stay away from browns. They go muddy on me.

How to Achieve the Look:

  1. Prep the eyes with TFSI and apply Urban Decay Skimp to the entire eye area, as well as the inner v and inner lower lash line.
  2. with a damp brush, apply Urban Decay Bordello to the outer half of the lid and outer half of the crease.
  3. With a round crease brush, apply Urban Decay Deeper (but you can just as easily use Stray Dog) to the crease, outer corner of the lid, and the outer lower lash line.
  4. Add mascara.
  5. Apply Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Midnight Cowboy to the lower waterline.

I think that this will look better on Light or Medium complexions. For me, the colors are not clear / high contrast enough.

      Love the lips!!!:)

I do like this look. It’s the kind of grungy neutral smokey eye that I wear a lot lately :) It would be perfect with a deep lipcolor like Strumpet!

I think I would have been happier if I’d added some eyeliner or something. I just felt so plain, but I do think it’s a look that is easier for other skintones to pull off. A deep lip would have been hot!

I like the overall effect with the lips. Its not your usual but you still look nice!

As always, your technique is flawless. The colors, I think, are not the best for you. I know you can wear browns – I use the term loosely – because the smoked palette smoldering look and the smoky shroom look you did are both stunning. Some subtle difference in the tones made your lovely eyes really stand out in the other two and not so much in this one.

I have to avoid anything with a reddish cast – picks up every red tone around my eyes and magnifies it to the nth degree. UGH! This is why I always play in the samples at Sephora before buying. And why I’m now using TFSI Lemon Drop. ;-)

Yeah I need stronger ‘clearer’ colors. I kept these very soft to try something new and it just wasn’t flattering for me. Thank you for the compliments on the Smoldering look :)

Memento looks great, it’s one of my favorite Lip Tars. I like the neutral that has the pink iridescence to it, it reminds me of Fyrinnae’s “Te Amo” (one of my fav shades from them) but I agree that you definitely could have gone a bit bolder for more of the contrast you prefer. Have you tried blending in a bit of black into a crease color before? Sometimes I do that when I need that extra definition.
