It must just be the time of year. Since I got my hair cut last Wednesday, I decided to darken my hair a bit more. Sunday I finally found the time to dye my hair again. I used about 1/3 to 1/2 a jar of Manic Panic Black & Blue mixed with about 2/3 a jar of Manic Panic Purple Haze for most of my hair. For the rest, I just used Manic Panic Voodoo Blue. I didn’t bleach my hair at all. I applied the color and put a cap on. I applied heat for about 15 minutes, then wrapped a towel around my head. I left it on for about 4 hours. I applied heat for another 20 minutes and then rinsed it all out. After washing it, I applied a hair mask for 10 minutes. Then I dried it. The color is deep and vibrant and I love it.
I liked it so much I took a picture of it wearing my glasses and without makeup.
What do you think of it? Do you like to go dark in the Fall / Winter?

Your hair looks amazing.
I have actually gone a bit lighter. I needed to brighten up for the cooler weather that is coming. (Eventually! LOL)
Ice Queen Aww thanks! It looks even better when I style it. Check it out in my Junebug tutorial tomorrow
And more bluuuueeeeee! I go a little darker in the fall and winter than in summer, but I’m always somewhere in the medium blonde range. *yawn* Maybe I should mix it up.
UneLuneBleue I like going darker for November / December
The color looks very pretty but the haircut doesn’t suit very much. Looks like a mushroom head. The long bangs you had before looked pretty. Your bangs are too short now to complement your face shape.
Za Hi Za, my hair is not styled at all in this photo, as I took the picture right before I went to bed, after I finished with the dye. Thanks!
Manic panic is good, but for super vibrant color pravana is where it’s at. Give it a try!
jenntre Hi, I’ve used Pravana’s Colorsilk Vivids before. I prefer Manic Panic. Thanks for the suggestion.
It looks great! I love how daring you are with your hair.
