So today I’ve got the Jane Iredale Glow Time Full Coverage Mineral BB Cream for you to check out. I’ve used this BB Cream on and off for a few months now because I couldn’t decide if I liked it or I hated it. It actually varies radically by what daytime moisturizer with SPF I use. I don’t like it with LaVanila the Healthy Face SPF 40. I really like it with Supergoop SPF 50.

$48 for 1.7 oz. Available for purchase from Amazon.com and several other online sites. Also, my salon, Cameo, carries it.
Does it live up to its claims?
Well I think it’s got very nice coverage. For me, it’s full coverage. It does cover up blemishes and minimizes pores. I think it does a good job giving the appearance of smooth skin and a brightened face. I don’t know that I can say it disguises wrinkles. With LaVanila moisturizer with spf, after a few hours it would actually separate on my face and look blotchy and weird. When I used it underneath the Supergoop it was better.
I tried applying it with my hands and hated the results. When I tried with Abbamart’s Flat Top Synthetic Kabuki Brush, I had much better results and it looked great! However, it only seems to wear for 4 to 6 hours on me and then it needs a touch up. This is what really disappointed me about the foundation, aside from the separating.
BB1 is a great match for my skintone, however I think that with its limited color palette (only 6 shades) you might have trouble finding your perfect match.

Would I purchase again?
Maybe. I honestly feel like for $48 bucks it should last more than 4 to 6 hours on me. Additionally, I am not happy with the SPF 25 rating. As you know, I prefer to wear SPF 40 or higher, so that also is a mark against it in my book. And of course, I don’t like it when foundation separates.
However, I do like that it’s full coverage. I like that it has good ingredients for the skin, including apple extract, grapefruit extract and aloe and it is soothing. I also love that it’s a good color match. It really does make my skin appear luminous. I think it’s the best American BB Cream that I’ve tried.
What do you think of the Jane Iredale Glowtime BB Cream?
Product purchased by me. All opinions are my own.
It looks like a really good match for you, and it provides nice coverage. Too bad it’s so picky about moisturizers. I think for $48 I’ll pass.
Thanks for reviewing this I do like the look of it but I was looking for something that would last a little longer, so for me this wouldn’t be worth the money.
Thanks for reviewing this. I was thinking about trying it, but if it doesn’t last well, it doesn’t seem worth the price.
I’ve been curious about this one, but since it doesn’t last I will pass! Thanks so much for the review!
