This brush is why this mascara may very well become my holy grail of mascaras.
When it comes to mascara application, I struggle. While I have a great lash comb with metal teeth, it often removes any lashes that I build up, so I struggle with clumpy lashes if I want them volumized.
Enter the Pop Peak Performance Mascara brush! It’s awesome!
So far I’ve tried it twice. The first day, I wore it from 9am until 1am. with Anastasia Lash Genius on top of it. No flaking off, no smudging, it was perfect. I did wear eyeshadow with it.
The second day, I wore it on its own. No eyeshadow primer, no eyeshadow, no eyeliner. Just the mascara.
I’m wearing it on both the upper and lower lashes with no raccoon eyes! The mascara gives me good length and nice volume.
I’m wearing the mascara, Anastasia tinted brow gel in Granite, and a touch of Paula’s Choice Resist foundation in Porcelain on my t-zone.
For the second day, wearing it on its own I experienced no flaking, no clumping, no smudging and no raccoon eyes. I’m going to continue using it for a while longer before I review it, but I wanted to share my initial impressions with you because I absolutely love this mascara!
What do you think about my results with this mascara so far? Have you tried it?
Product sent for consideration. All opinions are my own.

Have you tried Inky Indigo? I’ve yet to find a colored mascara that’ll show up on my dark brown/black lashes.
This mascara looks awesome so far! I really like the comb.
Those lashes look pretty darned good! Is the mascara easy to remove? I have a hard time getting waterproof formulas OFF my lashes.
Your lashes look amazing! I need to get this for myself! I’m gonna have to splurge on this one, can’t wait to read the full review when you post it.
Wow this is a noticeable difference from how your lashes used to look. I think I’m gonna get this!
Chica, you look so fresh and young in the last photo. :)
I hope you continue to update us on your experience with this mascara. I’ve never seen an applicator like this before.
I have several mascara tubes that I need to use up, but I don’t think I’ll be able to resist picking this one up – it makes your lashes look amazing! Hopefully it will have a similar effect on my lashes, too.
I’m also curious about the Inky Indigo. I used to love Badgal Blue Mascara, but I’ve been unable to find anything in a similar color that I like.
I have never seen a brush like that before! Interesting review!
