Looks like a clever idea, I get mascara on my non lash eyeparts all the time... $10 though? Usually I can wipe off mistakes with a twist of a q-tip.

@thecakepie I always end up screwing up my eyshadow when I use the q-tip, so for me it's better to use something like this.

I've never even heard of a mascara shield. At first I thought "why would I need one?" because I usually don't get mascara anywhere but my lashes, but after hearing how it lifts up to get better coverage I'm thinking, maybe this is something to have in the kit.

I have a mascara shield, I use it pretty much every time I do my makeup! I love it so much - I don't understand why they aren't more popular in the US! Mine was a $1 cheapie from ebay, though.
