This past weekend I went to North Carolina for a video shoot with Jesse’s Girl Cosmetics! I’ll be doing a full post about the shoot, but I wanted to share with you a sneak peek of Jesse’s Girl Julie G Gumdrop Nail Polish. The fabulous Julie G and RissRose2 were there, as was Jesse’s Girl Christine. The 4 of us hung out and had a great time.
Julie G gave me a manicure with her new colors! If you follow me on Instagram you saw the above sneak peek on my Instagram. However, I’ve got some more pictures taken with my DLSR to share with you.
Julie G gave me an ombré mani. After applying a base coat, she used two coats of Tangerine Dream (pretty orange). We might have been able to get away with 1 coat. It takes a very long time for this textured polish to dry, so I would highly recommend waiting 10 to 15 minutes between coats. After we were sure the polish was dry, she used a makeup sponge to dab Hot Cinnamon (red) onto the lower half of the nail. When it was finished, it looked amazing with my hair! I loved it. I wore it all weekend.
Because of its texture, it was super easy to ombré the colors together.
The nails have yet to chip on me. All of the above pictures were taken outdoors in natural light.
This was taken indoors, with flash. You can see how the nails have a sparkle finish. They’re not flat. I am in love and I cannot wait to get a bottle of Tangerine Dream!
Jesse’s Girl Cosmetics are available at Rite Aids. They are cruelty-free and most products are vegan.
However, don’t despair if there’s not a Rite Aid near you. If you spend $20 or more on the Jesse’s Girl Cosmetics Website, you get free shipping! As there are no Rite Aid Pharmacies near me, I’m very glad to see that Jesse’s Girl offers free shipping for a low price.
I believe that these polishes will be sold for $3.99. This collection will be out for this Spring.
Be looking for more from me about Jesse’s Girl! What do you think about the Gumdrops polishes? Do you like the sparkling textured look? I absolutely love it.
Products applied by Julie G. All opinions are my own.

You’ve been having so much fun with your travels. This sounds terrific.
I love this! I’m going to copy you. Well, you know, when I get my hands on these polishes
So fun – love the color combo! I’ve got to give myself an ombre mani. I guess the secret is the dab and the makeup sponge?

That looks soooo cool! I’ll be on the look out for these!
Holy! Those two colors are absolutely gorgeous!!
Just bought these two and I have to say although I love the colors they look NOTHING like these swatches and I was so mad. Hot Cinammon looks NOTHING like these swatches. It is a red with pinky shimmer. In the swatch above it looks like a coral. Tangerine dream also looks WAY more gold than that. Just something to note for those of you wanting to buy these polishes based on these swatches like I did…..
Hi! It looks like a coral because it was part of an ombre mani, and when you mix the orange with the red you end up with a coral.
