Urban Decay, Femme Fatale, tarte and Geek Chic Cosmetics Tutorial Press SampleI Bought ThisAffiliate Links

Happy Teal Thursday! Ever have one of those days where your makeup just doesn’t want to come together? I tried to put together a look twice before I managed this one. Nothing I was doing seemed to look right. This turned out ok. I know someone had requested that I use Urban Decay Mainline liner, and someone else requested Magenta and Teal. Since I couldn’t decide what the best magenta shade would be to use, I mixed together Femme Fatale Haunt and Geek Chic Cupcakes for a pink-toned purple. It didn’t turn out magenta but I liked how the color looked so I went with it. For the teal I used Urban Decay Mainline, which is a deep teal blue shade.

How to Achieve the Look
1. Start with Urban Decay Walk of Shame on the browbone. Then mix Geek Chic cosmetics Cupcakes with Femme Fatale Cosmetics Haunt and apply to the lid.
2. Deepen the outer lid with Femme Fatale Darkmist.
3. Blend tarte Sundeck into the crease. Deepen the crease with Darkmist.
4. Brush Sundeck on the lower lid. Line the upper and lower lash line with Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eyeliner in Mainline.
5. Add mascara. Highlight with tarte Parasol under the brows and at the inner corner.

With as hard as it was to get my eye makeup to look decent, I had no issues with my face products. I haven’t used Illamasqua Skin Base in a long time, so I mixed Skin Base in 1 and 4 together for my foundation. I love how it turned out. The tarte Aqualillies palette made my cheeks perfect. Add the NARS Light Reflecting Loose Setting powder and my skin looks pretty perfect.

Urban Decay Mainline actually looks great with browns, teals, blues or purples. If you want a dark liner that’s not black, it does a great job of brightening your eyes while still defining them.

I’ll be trying another Teal Thursday Look with a magenta shade, maybe Sugarpill Magentric, though I’m open to the brightest shade of magenta you can think of. If you have other ideas for Teal Thursday, let me know in the comments below!
