Quite a while back I had the opportunity to check out Red Apple Lipstick. Red Apple Lipstick is a 100% gluten free cosmetic company. Since an estimated 1 in 133 people have a sensitivity to gluten, Red Apple Lipstick was formed to provide those with Celiac Disease gluten free, paraben free and vegan beauty products.
All Red Apple Lipstick products are handmade by the owner Jay or his assistant Andrea. Red Apple Lipstick has severel pre-made palette that come in 4 perfectly coordinated colors. They also have custom Red Apple Z-Palettes that were created for them by Z-Palette. I received the Green Prosperity Vegan palette and Fuzzy Navel gloss to review. Green Prosperity is made up of Buttercream, Lucky Penny, Olive This Color and Espresso.

This new gloss formula by Red Apple Lipstick is designed to promote lip skin health. Fuzzy Navel is loaded with a fantastic, high quality, gluten free Vitamin E and Vitamin C, both incredibly beneficial to skin health. Mint 2 Be glosses are smooth as satin. They are not sticky or tacky, which provides a lovely and polished shine.
Polybutene, Polyisobutene, Iso Stearyl Neopentanoate, Spearmint, Gluten Free Vitamin C&E, Aloe Vera
a highly pigmented, super tangerine gloss with a touch of spearmint. The cooling effect soothes chapped lips, and the peachy-nude color adds brilliant shine! Natural spearmint freshens breath instantly, when applied.
Really pretty, sheer color. It has mint in it to plump lips. It stings my lips a bit but quickly fades. The gloss isn’t sticky, it’s smooth. Really nice!

creamy white pearl shade. Great to highlight or use as a base shade.
Olive This Color
deep hunter green with subtle gold iridescence. Really lovely green.
Aged gold with copper tones. This is my favorite of the bunch. So gorgeous!
deep blackened brown matte. This makes a perfect liner or contour color.
While I like the texture and really like color of the gloss, I don’t think it’s very pigmented. I think it’s a pretty neutral shade and it doesn’t even out the color of my lips. That said, it looks like the other colors in the collection would be more pigmented. I also think that the mint is a nice touch! It’s a very smooth texture.
The eyeshadows have a nice texture and great pigmentation. They’re fairly easy to work with. Lucky Penny was the best of the bunch, to me. I got 8 to 9 hours on primer with minimal fading in the crease.
Now, I have to say that I find the price tag for the individual shadows hard to swallow. At $18.75 for individual shadows, that seems high, even for vegan and gluten free products. (and especially when I compare the price to Silk Naturals at $4.50 for vegan and gluten free eyeshadows). However, ignoring the price, I think that they’re nice.
If you’re looking for vegan, cruelty free, paraben free and gluten free eyeshadows and lip products, Red Apple Lipstick may have the products that you crave.
