Surya Brasil Sapien Women collection review

Quite a while ago I had the opportunity to try out an all new body line called Surya Brasil Sapien Women. This is a cool line that is vegan, natural, and cruelty free. It’s loaded with exotic organic Amazonian ingredients including Pracaxi Oil, Aloe Vera juice, Amaranth protein, Açai oils, and Vitamin E. These products are formulated without sulfates, parabens, BHT, EDTA, mineral oil, GMOs, phthalates, alcohol, silicon or synthetic fragrance. So for my readers who love truly organic, paraben free, cruelty free and vegan products, you’ll want to take a closer look!

I tried out the Shower Gel, Body Scrub, Shave Gel and Body Moisturizer.

Surya Brasil Sapien Women Shower Gel Review

Shower Gel
The ecofriendly Sapien Women Shower Gel is vegan, natural and rich in exotic organic Amazonian ingredientes like Pracaxi oil, Aloe Vera juice, Amaranth protein and Vitamin E, which protect skin and provide deep hydration.

Ingredients
Water, *Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Decyl Polyglucoside, Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycerin, Sodium PCA, Fragrance, Dehydroacetic Acid Benzyl Alcohol, Xanthan Gum, Hydrolyzed Amaranth Protein, Carrageenan, *Penthaclethra Macroloba Seed Oil, Tocopherol.

My Thoughts
This smells fruity and tasty, which is they I prefer my shower gel. I really like the scent! It gives a good amount of lather when you use a body sponge. It doesn’t make my skin feel stripped.

Surya Brasil Sapien Women Shave Gel Review

Shave Gel
The ecofriendly Sapien Women Shave Gel protects your skin while shaving. It’s a natural and vegan product made with exotic organic Amazonian ingredients like Cupuaçu butter, Pracaxi oil, Macadamia oil, Vitamin E to prevent drying and protect sensitive skin. Organic Aloe Vera juice and vegetable glycerin promote intense hydration. May be used on face, underarms, legs and bikini line.

Ingredients
Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, *Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Decyl Polyglucoside, Glycerin, Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate, **Sucrose Cocoate, Dehydroaceitc Acid Benzyl, Alcohol, Dehydroxanthan Gum, Fragrance, Xanthan Gum, Magnesium Aluminium Silicate, Citric Acid, *Penthaclethra Macroloba Seed Oil, Tocopherol, *Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil, *Theobroma Grandiflorum Seed Butter.

My Thoughts
I don’t typically use a shave gel. I usually use my shower gel, lather up and then shave my legs, so using this shave gel was a nice change. It does a good job of protecting from nicks, especially around the knees (which is where I’m prone to nick). I had Ray use it on his face and he said it works well for shaving a man’s face. It also smells fruity.

Surya Brasil Sapien Women Body Scrub Review

Body Scrub
Made with Amazonian Organic ingredients and 100% natural exfoliants from Coconut bark and organic Buriti, which remove dead cells and impurities. Amazonian White Clay enhances the exfoliation power, and a high concentration of organic Aloe Vera juice provides intense hydration. It leaves skin silky, smooth, soft and hydrated.

Ingredients
Water, *Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Kaolin (White Clay), Glycerin, **Sucrose Cocoate, *Mauritia Flexuosa Pulp Powder, Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Dehydroacetic Acid Benzyl Alcohol, Dehydroxanthan Gum, Fragrance, Magnesium Aluminium Silicate, Cocos Nucifera Shell Powder, Sodium Hydroxide.

My Thoughts
This looks like you’re rubbing dirt on yourself. That aside, it’s a nice body scrub! The brown sandy bits are actually coconut bark and they do a great job exfoliating your skin. Once you’re done you feel silky smooth. I still prefer sugar scrubs but this is a nice alternative to them.

Surya Brasil Sapien Women Body Moisturizer Review

Body Moisturizer
The ecofriendly Sapien Women Body Moisturizer is vegan, natural and rich in exotic organic Amazonian ingredients like Cupuaçu and Murumuru butters, Pracaxi and Açaí oils, Amaranth protein, Vitamin E and Aloe Vera juice that protect the skin and provide deep hydration.

Ingredients
Water, *Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Cetearyl Olivate Sorbitan Olivate, Glycerin Stearate, Dehydroacetic Acid Benzyl Alcohol, *Astrocaryum Murumuru Seed Butter, *Penthaclethra Macroloba Seed Oil, Fragrance, *Theobroma Grandiflorum Seed Butter, Saccharomyces Silicon Ferment, Sacchromyces Magnesium Ferment, Saccharomyces Zinc Ferment, Sacchromyces Cooper Ferment, Saccharomyces Iron Ferment, Sodium PCA, *Euterpe Oleracea Fruit Oil, Xanthan Gum, Tocophreol, Sodium Hydroxide, Carrageenan.
*INGREDIENTS FROM ORGANIC FARMING 98.88% of the total ingredients are from natural origin. 18.88% of the total ingredients are from organic farming.

My Thoughts
The body moisturizer is fabulous! It’s a very lightweight formula that absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn’t leave behind a greasy residue. I think it’s the aloe vera juice in it. I liked this the best of the 4 products because I feel like so many moisturizers get it wrong and leave you feeling like you have to wash your hands or be left with a greasy residue.

Overall I’m impressed with the Surya Brasil Sapien Women Collection. I’m happy to have a vegan, cruelty free, paraben free, organic line that I can recommend to people, because more and more people are asking for vegan, organic and paraben free recs.

So happy to hear of this vegan bath/body care! I have been struggling to find one that I am positive is vegan (I try to use as many vegan products as I can), so I am so happy to hear good things about this line!

Thank you as always for sharing!

i do prefer organic & paraben free products, especially lotions and creams! how’s the lather on the shower gel without using a sponge? bf always complains if it doesn’t suds up enough which is a common problem among more natural shower gels :(
