I’m so excited to announce that I had a meeting with FutureDerm yesterday and we can now say that Pretty Little Elixir Vegan Hair Masque will be shipping out this week! After crazy delays, it’s finally going to happen.

Pretty Little Elixir Vegan Hair Mask

Read Nicki’s review of Pretty Little Elixir, the miracle moisture mask.

Pretty Little Elixir Vegan Hair Masque is cruelty free and vegan. It’s very important to me that any product that I help to create be cruelty free. I wanted to make this one vegan so that anyone can use it. Additionally we are working on getting Leaping Bunny certification. I know that I feel like it’s safer to buy a product if it’s Leaping Bunny certified.

Cetearyl Alcohol
Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein PG-Propyl Silanetriol

This formula is paraben free. Nicki says it is also gluten free. Here’s how:  Gluten = glutenin + gliadin + starch. You can take wheat, isolate out these 3 components, and then it is gluten-free wheat!

I promise you I’ll be doing an in-depth comparison and video on the hair mask when I have the official bottle in my hands! I’ve been waiting so long and I am so excited!

Hi, could you please explain how a formula containing wheat protein is gluten-free? My girlfriend has celiac disease and I know that’s one of the ingredients that she usually avoids. Thank you!

Yep, asking Nicki to explain. Once she does, I’ll share her response with you.

          Thank you!

On a side note, my husband is allergic to wheat, but not celiac, which I thought was not possible!

            • Stephanie

I also thought they were the same thing for a long time! I’ve been learning a lot about these conditions since I started dating someone with celiac disease. :)
