I decided at the last minute today that I would have an at home spa day. I started by putting Manic Panic Voodoo Blue dye into my hair, wrapping it and left it on for 3 hours. I was tired of my hair looking all faded while I wait for my Special Effects Fishbowl Blue to get here and I had a full jar of Voodoo Blue sitting around so I decided to use that.
No spa day is complete without a cute wrap. I wore my zebra print spa wrap. I turned on my Flameless LED Rose Candle (though sadly the remote I got with this does not work and Groupon did not respond to my email about this, thus proving why I should only ever order through Amazon).
After I rinsed the dye out of my hair, I washed with Cocoa Pink Black Chocolate Raspberries Princess Poo. Then I put Pretty Little Elixir Vegan Hair Masque on my hair and wrapped it in a towel. I left this in for a half hour.
I used my favorite Bath n Body Works Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin body wash, followed by my Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin body scrub. I followed up with gud Pearanormal Activity Body Butter.
With the Ellen Lange Peel on my face, in my spa wrap
I then decided it was peel time, so I broke out my Ellen Lange Retexturizing Peel Kit. It’s been far too long since I’ve done a peel, so I was in dire need! After that I applied RejuvaSea Revitalize Firming Serum, followed by My Beauty Bunny Vegan AHA Moisturizer. For a bit of extra moistuzer on the areas that I’m now prone to dryness, as well as for my eyes, I used Paula’s Choice RESIST Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator.
When’s the last time you’ve enjoyed an at home spa day? What products help make your spa day enjoyable?

Love all these suggestions! It’s funny because I refer to your blog more and more for recommendations so I love the easy layout, search function and the review links. My husband has become my spa buddy, he’s learning to appreciate the effects and understand the labor women go through to maintain ourselves lol
Thank you so much for letting me know that you love the easy layout! I’ve been updating it to try and make navigation easier, add bigger pictures, and just make it overall more appealing! do you ever use the tabbed box at the bottom of the main page?
And yes, sometimes it’s just nice to spa and relax
Yup, I’ve used the tabs at the top and bottom as well as the search box to the right of the page – very easy to navigate and find what I need to know!
Yay! thank you so much
I only have my own vegan hair masque. I partnered with FutureDerm to create my perfect cruelty free and vegan hair masque because my favorite hair mask is not cruelty free. So I made one that is
Love at home Spa Days! I fit em in whenever I have a minute to breathe
What great suggestions
It’s been much too long since I’ve had a spa day, I’m waiting until Spring break to do absolutely nothing (excluding my group projects!)
Great suggestion and your SPA day sounds like a dream. I really don´t remember when I enjoyed this kind of home spa day.
Sounds like you had a very relaxing time! Good question, I really don’t remember when I last enjoyed a full spa day at home or elsewhere, but I usually end up indulging in my favorite LUSH products when I do.
Ahh, that sounds wonderful! I can’t even remember the last time I did an at-home spa day. I think the closest I come is when I soak in an epsom salt bath after a long run. I need to remedy this!
My mom and sister and I did a girls’ day at our favorite spa not too long ago. I got a massage and we just relaxed in the spa’s quiet lounges.
Oh, I love these kinds of days. Unfortunately I don’t get them very often.
Oh man I need a good spa day!
I did a mini one Sunday! I put on my GlamGlow masque, and showered with my new spa sponge, and I took care of my nails. Feels good to pamper a little. Can’t wait to see your new hair!
