Silk Naturals Peach HD Cream Concealer Review

Silk Naturals Peach HD Cream Concealer Review Swatches

Today I’ve got the Silk Naturals Peach HD Cream Concealers to show you. There are 6 shades available in a vegan, gluten free formula. You may ask, why would I want a peach concealer? Peach concealers are renowned for hiding those pesky dark undereye circles. They counteract the dark purple.

I created a tutorial on how to use the Silk Naturals HD Cream Foundation and Peach HD Cream Concealer.

About Silk Naturals Peach HD Cream Concealer Review
Peach HD Concealer is very specifically designed for dark undereye circles, and IT WORKS!!  We’ve combined an all-natural vegan base with tons of pigment for great coverage, and state-of-the-art ceramic microspheres for line blurring.  The texture is firm- not tuggy, or hard to blend, but firm enough to prevent most creasing.

Silk Naturals Vegan HD Creme Concealer Foundation

Face

Lips

  • Urban Decay 24/7 lip pencil in Obsessed (Vegan)
  • Dose of Colors lipstick in Love Potion (Vegan)

My Thoughts
The Silk Naturals Peach HD Concealer is very similar in formula and feel to the HD cream foundation. The color counteracts the dark circle I often have at my inner corner. If you apply this thinly and blend it out, then set it with a powder like Silk Naturals Flattery Illuminating Powder or Cloud Finishing Powder.

Pros

  • Vegan
  • Cruelty free
  • Gluten free
  • Counters dark circles
  • Excellent formula
  • Great value for the price

Cons

  • The deepest shades may not be suited to the deepest skintones

You look absolutely stunning, and I just think you are soooo sweet. I use the Eve Pearl concealer and I would like to place an order with Silk Naturals, my question to you is whether the concealer (and I also like that powder you used) is suitable for my normal/dry 50+ skin, I have this fear of my eyes looking dry and cakey. Your recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Hugs, xoxoxo

      • http://www.phyrra.net/ Phyrra

I think it would work well for normal / dry skin. My skin right now is normal to dry under the eyes, oily t-zone. Plus I’m sensitive and have rosacea.

I am obsessed with your many hair colors… LOVE THEM. Oh – on to the products, they sound pretty awesome. I’m not a concealer foundation person, but these sound like something I would try if I was.

        Aww thank you <3

I’ve finally invested time into playing around with concealer for contouring. I think from this line I’d be a number 40

      • http://www.phyrra.net/ Phyrra

Let me know if you give it a try

    • Nidia Doherty

I love a highlighting concealer. I’ve been using one from Tarte, and I love how it brightens and conceals. This sounds like a great option, too!

      • http://www.phyrra.net/ Phyrra

Oooh is the tarte your favorite?

    • Anastasia

Looks nice! 10 looks like it would be great for my skin tone.

      • http://www.phyrra.net/ Phyrra

        It’s perfect for porcelain skin.

    • Shelley Polarbelle

      WOW! looks great!!! I think I’d be a 20.

      • http://www.phyrra.net/ Phyrra

It amazes me that in Eve Pearl’s own shades “Fair” matches Silk Naturals 30!

    • http://theplasticdiaries.com Kimmi @ The Plastic Diaries

I think I would be a 20 but they do also look good for contouring so I would perhaps go a shade either side.

      • http://www.phyrra.net/ Phyrra

You would use a peachy shade to contour? You need to do a tutorial on it!

        • http://theplasticdiaries.com Kimmi @ The Plastic Diaries

On my skin, yes. 30 looks like a regular skin tone so for me it would just be a slightly darker skin hue … perfect for contouring. I can’t use the browns most people use for contouring because I just look dirty.

    • Amber

I love the concealer stick, it looks like a chapstick applicator. Very nice finish on you, both products!

I really need to try these! I love peach concealers.

This is the first one that’s actually been light enough for me

I just went and bought a bunch of samples. I’ve seen you blog about this brand so much I decided I needed to check it out. I’m always looking for a better foundation. Between adult acne, acne scaring, redness, and serious dark under eye circles I am never quite happy with the way my foundation looks.

      • http://www.phyrra.net/ Phyrra

Definitely let me know what you think of it.

        • http://www.KellsDIYnails.blogspot.com/ Kelly Tomlinson

So I’ve tried the concealer & foundation for the past couple of weeks but I’m finding it looks cakey on my skin. I’ve tried using a different moisturizer or primer before using it but it’s still not playing nice with my skin. I tried your recommendation above about only blending out the concealer in one direction which did give some improvement but it still seems to leave a very unnatural look on my skin. Any suggestions? It could be it’s just not a good match for me but thought I would reach out. Thanks!

          • http://www.phyrra.net/ Phyrra

Hi! I would email Silk Naturals to get advice on how to adjust for your skin. My thoughts would be applying your moisturizer, waiting 15 minutes for it to sink in, then applying the foundation without a primer.

    • trumpette

Excellent video! I think my problem previously (besides having seriously dry skin) is that I wasn’t using quite enough of the concealer. This stuff is freaking amazing. I have very dark circles and nothing, I mean nothing has covered them and this does. It does slightly settle into my fine lines, even after setting with Translucent Cloud, but I think it’s more the condition of my skin – I’m just about to have a Pelleve treatment so hopefully that will change!! Also, this is the best foundation I’ve tried yet, I prefer it even to Skin Base!!

      • http://www.phyrra.net/ Phyrra

If it’s settling into your fine lines, I would try blending one direction, like outwards, rather than both directions like I did into the video. Then roll and pat with a makeup puff to set. I really really like Flattery for under the eyes, to help brighten the area.

I have horrible dark circles that are the worst in the corners. This looks like it’d be perfect for that. This brand, every time you review something from them I’m amazed. The quality and quantity is insanely amazing for such a low price. I’m really going to have to splurge on some of their stuff soon!
