This is just a teaser of my upcoming UD Electric Gonzo tutorial with the UD Electric palette. I did use a touch of Aura from the Wizard of Oz Glinda and a bit of Strange from Naked3. LOVE THIS PALETTE!
The Urban Decay Electric Pressed Pigment Palette will be available from Sephora, ULTA and select Macy’s stores starting March 18, 2014.
In case you missed it, 4 colors in the palette are not FDA approved for use in the immediate eye area, though they are approved for lip face and elsewhere.
Here’s the question I asked UD about those 4 colors:
“I know that 4 of the colors in the Electric Palette are not intended for use in the immediate eye area. Is this because the FDA has not yet tested or approved neon pigments for use in the immediate eye area here in the USA? Are these the same pigments that are safe in Europe and Canada?”
Here’s their response:
“You are correct. These shades contain a colorant that is not FDA-approved for the use around the immediate eye area; however, it is FDA-approved for external use on the lips, face and body. It’s important to note that this restriction only applies in the U.S.; in every other market where Urban Decay is sold, this colorant is approved for use around the immediate eye area.”
Urban Decay is Leaping Bunny Certified and cruelty free.

This look is so pretty! I don’t have any neon eye shadows, and I think it’s time for that to change!
are you comfortable using those shadows near your eye? i’m really trying to decide if i want to buy this or not..
I normally don’t wear shades that vibrant but I’m going to start. That look is gorgeous on you and I can’t wait to get my hands on that palette!
