Sephora VIB Rouge, Teavana Haulin' and More

Welcome to Phyrra Says Vol. 7 aka Sephora VIB Rouge, Teavana Haulin’ and More. This isn’t strictly a beauty video. I talk about my Sephora VIB Rouge Event experience with my friend Eugenia from GeniaBeMe.com. She and I went shopping after the event, so we hauled some Victoria’s Secret and some Lush. Later, Ray and I did some tea haulin’.

Sephora VIB Rouge Event

  • BECCA Ultimate Coverage Complexion Creme (returning this, it’s too heavy for me, though Shell is a good shade match, just a touch more yellow than I’d prefer)
  • Urban Decay 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Liner in Woodstock
  • Bite Beauty Cashmere Lip Creme in Moscato
  • Bite Beauty Cashmere Lip Creme in Napa
  • Bite Beauty Matte Lip Crayon in Kumquat

Victoria’s Secret

  • Cute panties

  • Mint Julips Lip Scrub
  • Honey Trap Lip Balm

Teavana Teal Haulin’

Jade Citrus Mint
Refreshing and invigorating, this green tea blend is a bright citrus balance of lemon verbena and lemongrass with a hint of spearmint and rich China Chun Mee green tea base.

  • Caffeine 1 – 15 mg
  • Catechin Antioxidant scale – 46 mg

Moroccan Mint
This exciting and refreshing blend of Chinese gunpowder green tea and Moroccan spearmint mingle together with every refined and pleasing sip.

  • Caffeine scale 16 – 25 mg
  • Catechin Antioxidant Scale 46+ mg

Gyokuro Imperial Green Tea
Gyokuro bushes are covered in shade two weeks before harvesting, which creates a light but very complex blend and a luscious deep dark green color. The shading helps the leaves to retain chlorophyll, which concentrates both the green tea taste and nutrients, making this a bright and flavorful favorite.

  • Caffeine scale 26 – 40 mg
  • Catechin Antiioxidant Scale – 46 mg

Peach Tranquility
A peaceful medley of soft peach and sweet pineapple gently falls across your palate, while calming Roman chamomile and lemon verbena shower over you, creating a tranquil treat.

  • Caffeine free
  • No antioxidants

Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea
Indulge in dessert-inspired sweetness that brings out the wild honeybush and tames it into a creamy confection. The South African honeybush is grown in the wild and carries soft, clear honey tones when it’s blended with sweet vanilla beans. The result is a smooth, warm and friendly, creamy dessert tisane. Smooth & rich honey-vanilla infusion.

  • Caffeine free
  • No antioxidants

I think Genia has talked me into taking Pure Barre classes with her. They sound like a great workout. Have you done barre classes? Have you heard of them?

Please delurk and say hi!

I totally agree with the Sephora Rouge even the Silver VIP or whatever it is called is totally underwhelming. I wish they would go to points that earn dollars off of purchases rather than give me samples because I have super sensitive rosacea and generally won’t use the samples anyway.

        Agreed, that would be nice!

That pure barre class sounds like a lot of fun! I took one ballet exercise class several years ago. It kicked my butt ha ha. Seriously it was not as intense as you would think for an aerobic class, but it was so intense that by the end I was actually crying. I have heard anecdotally that we sometimes keep stress in our body in certain places and when you exercise those parts that stress comes out– well it sure did that day! I think you’ll love it :)

I hope I will! I am sure that Eugenia and I will have fun.

yum! those first 3 teas you bought are staples for me! i had the same feeling with that becca complexion creme although i only had the sample. it was so darn thick!

I’m sorry to hear that the VIB Rouge event wasn’t so great. I had considered going, but I just didn’t have time. It seems like I didn’t miss much, though. Those samples are kind of boring.
