I wanted to try a look with Pluot and Smurf today. This is a pretty simple look, but I think you will like it ;)


Shade Descriptions:
Smurf – a super sparkly blue with fuschia/pink sparkles
Pluot – a matte violet with a blue undertone
Flesh – a soft matte tan/flesh color


You can see where I blended the two bright colors together in my lower crease and got a nice effect with it.

Eyes:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy – crease and outer vee
Simply Naturals Pluot – inner 3/4 of lid, applied with Sonia Kashuk shadow brush
simply Naturals Smurf – outer 1/4 of lid, outer vee and crease, applied with ecotools angled crease brush
Simply Naturals Flesh – on browbone to highlight and inner corners of eye, applied with ecotools highlighting brush on browbone and chisel detail brush on inner corners
L’Oreal Hip Liner in Eggplant – upper and lower lash line
Aromaleigh Lash Primer
Benefit BadGal Lash Mascara in Black
Lorac Brow Pencil in Dark Brown

I wanted to wear Silk Naturals Poly, because I was craving a blue today. So I grabbed Lunar, a vegan shade that I’ve not used before. I also applied colors a bit differently than normal, since I wanted to try out a new technique.

Eyes:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy – in crease
Silk Naturals Poly – applied on lid with Medusa shadow brush
Silk Naturals Lunar – applied in crease with ecoTools angled crease brush
Silk Naturals Nekkid – applied to inner corners of eye with chisel detail brush, then applied to blend out the edges of Lunar in the upper crease with the angled crease brush
Silk Naturals Rebel – applied with ecoTools highlighting brush to outer vee, then used ecoTools blending brush to blend crease colors together
Silk Naturals Hint – applied with ecoTools highlighting brush right under eyebrows
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Flipside – lower lash line
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Electric – outer lower water line
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Yeyo – inner lower water line
Gel Eyeliner in Black Out – upper lash line
Aromaleigh Lash Primer
MAC Pro Lash Mascara in Coal Black

Hint – MAC Seedy Pearl clone, light pink/lavender shimmer
XXX – ultra nude matte
Gemini – MAC Grand Duo clone, plummy red with some warm coppery shimmer, a medium cool red.
Crinoline – MAC Pettiecoat clone, peachy red glow

I labeled where I used the color, since I saw my friend  Robyn do that and I figured it might help a bit with this look.

Today I did another blue look with Meow Cosmetics colors. I really love how Blizzard looks and Snowangels is very nice. Ring-a-ling surprised me with how pretty of a silver it is.

I think this is what I wore. I never had a chance to write down what I was wearing, like I normally do, because I was at work from roughly 9am until 8:30 pm, and then I was working from home until 10:30 pm. My pictures didn’t turn out well and I couldn’t remember what lipstick I wore >.<  So this is my best guess.
