Haircuts

Phaedra and I both got hair cuts recently. She got cut on Friday by Megan at Best in Show. Megan did a wonderful job with her. She looks adorable, as usual. She’s still got her cute winter collar on, too.

Supernova Designs – A Review

Recently I came across Supernova Designs on Etsy. I was looking for cute little clips for my hair. Whenever my hair is shorter, I’m compelled to put some sort of clip or barrette on the right side to keep the wispies at bay.

Updated Hair Color

Sunday evening I touched up the dye in my hair. I hadn’t last touched it up since October 17 and Sunday was December 12 (that’s about 9 weeks!). I didn’t feel up to bleaching my roots, so I went the easy way. I took a section of hair on the left side of my face and put Jerome Russel Punky color in Turquoise on that section and then enclosed it in foil. I took 1/2 a jar of Punky color in Turquoise and 1/2 a jar of Punky color in Midnight Blue and mixed them together and then applied the mixture to the rest of my hair. I left it on for 2 hours and then rinsed my hair until the water ran clean. Then I washed my hair with L’Oreal Everpure shampoo and used Tigi Superstar Sulfate Free Volumizing Conditioner. I think the results were wonderful.

I feel that Sulfate Free shampoo really makes a big difference in my color. The only reason I colored my hair this past Sunday was that my roots were showing, so it needed a touch up. After 9 weeks, only having to touch up because of my roots is not bad at all! I also feel that the colors I’m using by Jerome Russel Punky Color work really well with my hair type. They saturate my hair and the color stays locked in place.

Flat Iron Suggestions?

I’m back to having the same problem I had before with my flat irons. None of them have an automatic shut off feature that after they’re left on for a half hour or an hour, they shut off automatically. I need to find one that will automatically shut off, lest I have to run home to make sure I turned it off.

I’m asking you, please help me :)

Can you suggest flat irons that have an automatic turn off feature?
