Beware the Jabberwocky
Here’s the fun look I wore on Wednesday. I used a MAC greasepaint stick in B, which I haven’t used in a while, as a dark base for my outer v and crease. I tried a new color, Madd Style’s Glitter & Doom on top of it, and the lid color was Black Rose Mome Rath. Also, you may have noticed, Phyrra.net got a new header, courtesy of the talented Naneko85, and I am tweaking the layout/colors a bit. Please let me know what you think.
Golden Beige Brown
I practiced with brown, beige and gold tones today. today! Let me know what you think. I think it turned out pretty well for a neutral look.
Poison Absinthe
Today I played around with a different makeup technique and Pixie Epoxy. I love the results. I should have used a bit of foundation under my eyes or concealer, because I didn’t get a lot of sleep last night.
Neutral With A Kick
I did a neutral look with a kick today. I brought my crease color up really high to try and make my eyes look a bit bigger.
Sushi Flower
I based my look today around a central color, Sushi Flower. I have no idea why I love this color so much, but I do. I do wish it had a bit of violet iridescence to it, but it’s a pretty pinky-coral shade. It looked awesome with Grey‘s Lucia and Cranberry Champagne. I like how Vapour worked with the shades, too.
Look for Ana – Pin Up Phyrra
The lovely Ana of Lipsticks & Lightsabers asked me to attempt a pin up style look with my new hair, so this is what I came up with. Instead of the traditional red lips I used MAC Fusion Pink, which is a fantastic, bright coral red with violet-pink iridescence. I also used my Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium Dark as the crease color and I think it worked very nicely.
Tete-A-Tint
We had some important people at my office today, so I made sure I looked polished. Tete-A-Tint certainly turned caramel-orange on me as opposed to caramel-brown. It was interesting working with all mattes.
