I decided that since I did a Green & Silver Holiday Look, a Golden Look, a Burgundy & Bronzey-Gold Look, it was time for me to do a Red & Gold Holiday Look. This is what I came up with and I’m pretty happy with the results. I wore this on Thursday. I used Stila’s Smudge Pot in Pomegranate for a deep red base. I also went for red lips again.
I did a red look today for World AIDs day with Morgana Cryptoria and Sugarpill. Harbinger by Morgana Cryptoria is an amazing black with red shimmer, which looks great with the matte red of Love +.
Today we went out to lunch with Dave’s family. This is the look I threw together rather quickly for the outing.

I did a cute look with Beauty from the Earth today. I sort of had a Hawaiian Fire Dancer in mind when I did this.
Today I did a look with colors from Aromaleigh’s new collection, Victoria’s Revenge.
I haven’t done a red look in a while, so I decided to try Agincourt & Concubine together. They’re pretty amazing. Instead of reaching for a black for my crease, I decided to give Mordred a try. I’m really pleased with the results.
My lovely friend Dominique of Mika Chan Sparkles & I decided to design some makeup looks for eachother. This is the look that she put together for me.
I had a Devil of a time getting the lashes to apply!
Shade Descriptions:
Black Black – flat, rich black (matte)
Kamikaze – a bright fire-engine sparkly red
Pyromantic Erotica – Vibrant orange. Starts off orange with strong golden-yellow sheen, closer to light it becomes a purer, darker, more vibrant orange as gold changes to redder-orange. Very metallic, less sparkly.
Crinoline – MAC Pettiecoat clone, peachy red glow
Gemini – MAC Grand Duo clone, plummy red with some warm coppery shimmer, a medium cool red
Corset – A clear brilliant reddish rouge
Black Berry – black
Currant – intense reddish purple
Cherry – vivid bright bluish-red
Love Alert – raspberry red with red pearl
