Vincent Longo Sun Moon Stars Eyeshadow Trios Review

I’ve had two of the Vincent Longo Sun Moon Stars Eyeshadow Trios for quite a while now. I picked up Chariot Wings at a Hautelook sale (affiliate link), and the Paradise Love trio was a gift from a friend. I’ve not heard too much about Vincent Longo, so I wanted to review them.

Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush – Natural

Recently I purchased the Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow and Mood Boosting Blush in Natural. It’s supposed to have a violet scent that improves your mood and cheers you up. There is a flowery-candy type scent, but it didn’t annoy me. I don’t think it didn’t anything to improve my mood, either.

Shadow Transformation

Shadow Transformation… the art of foiling, only I prefer to do it without water. This comparison of shadow transforming products has been a long time in the making. I’m comparing Fyrinnae‘s Pixie Epoxy (holy grail!), Hi-Fi’s High Impact Shadow Fix, Sobe Botanical’s Stick it and Medusa’s Makeup The Fix. I used 2 pressed shadows and 2 loose shadows for the skin swatches. I used various shadows, both pressed and loose, for the wear testing. This is done in a similar fashion to my eye shadow primer comparison V2.0.

Vicious Cosmetics

Recently I had the opportunity to try out a new company, Vicious Cosmetics. Vicious Cosmetics is an indie company based in Pensacola, Florida. The owner is a licensed cosmetologist with an interest in marine biology. They opened in late August of 2010. Most of the colors are vegan and they’re all custom blended.

Sigma Beauty Review

Edit: Sigma Beauty sent me 2 brushes by mistake, the F05 & the F55, which were the brushes from my original order. When I contacted them to ask why they sent them, they said they didn’t know why they’d resent those brushes but they want me to send the brushes back to them, and they’ll reimburse me for the shipping costs.

I feel it is highly unprofessional and inappropriate of them to ask me to spend my time and money to return brushes to them that they sent to me by their own mistake. While I am sending the brushes back to them, and hopefully will get reimbursed for my troubles, I have removed their affiliate links from my blog and will not purchase from them again. They have lost me as a customer.

Edit: I was just contacted again by Sigma & told that I no longer need to return the brushes. Apparently Sigma has now changed their policies on no longer requiring customers to return products sent to them by mistake and they will be looking into changing how they ship out their brushes.

I first ordered from SigmaBeauty on December 28, 2010. I picked up a Small Contour F05 and a Small Duo Fibre F55. Both are face brushes. Shipping was $5.25 This package arrived on December 31, 2010. I was surprised that the brushes arrived in a yellow bubble wrap envelope, as it didn’t seem like it would be safe to send brushes that way, but they were safe inside the packaging.

Too Faced Teddy Bear Hair Brushes

Recently I purchased the Too Faced Teddy Bear Hair brush set from Apothica. I had a gift card for the site, so figured I should get something I’d always been curious about. I also picked up the Too Faced Primed & Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primer and the Too Faced Lip Insurance Lip Primer. Shipping was free, as it is for all orders over $49 on Apothica.

NaturalLogic Body & Skincare

Recently when looking for a lip scrub on Etsy, I stumbled upon NaturalLogic. I ended up picking up not only their lip scrub but a sample gel masque that caught my eye.

Everything came in individual bags to prevent leaking on each other. They came with laminated instructions for use, and little spatulas as well. I liked this very much!
