Lips:
Spell Baciare Lip Creme in A Lady Never Tells – light color
later applied on top of A Lady Never Tells

Also, I tried blotting these colors after I had them layered and they looked awesome. I should have taken a picture of that, but I was pressed for time so I couldn’t.

And here’s a picture of Phaedra that was just too cute to pass up.

I really like this little collection. I’m especially happy with Nevermore and Victorian Vampire. I think that A Lady Never Tells doesn’t really work well with my skin tone. The eye shadows all coordinate together beautifully.

What do you think of this look?
How do you like the Victorian Couture collection?

I wanted to show you my cute bat charm up close. I think I purchased it at Joann Fabrics several weeks ago.

I received two packages in the mail today.

The first was my Halloween Meow colors that I purchased.

I wanted you to see the cute little labels for the Friday the 13th and the Dance of Death collections.

The second was my Spell Victorian Couture that I purchased.

Yes it really did come in a cute box.

These have LE tops. The black ones are velvety and the white one has the nice victorian cross.

What do you think of these colors?

Fyrinnae Halloween Deaux & Spell Fall Haul

Fyrinnae Halloween Deaux & Spell Fall Haul

Fyrinnae Halloween Part Deaux Haul
I recently purchased a full size lip lustre and Halloween samples from Fyrinnae. I’m completely enthralled with Shinigami, as it’s more gorgeous in person than I thought it would be and I want to wear it with Dressed to Kill. Yum. Sleepy Hollow is really pretty and you can definitely see the sage green. Avenging Salem caught my eye as well, it’s really neat. Medieval Haunting and Pumpkinfire are quite sparkly! I included the cute little ghost stickers that came with my order in the picture, because I always think they’re a nice little touch.

Shangri-La – vibrant, azalea purple-pink with a strawberry cotton candy scent
Pumpkinfire – black with brilliant coppery-orange sparkle and shimmer
Shinigami – deep, smoldering royal purple entwined with a scattering of blue and crimson sparkle. (this one is to die for gorgeous)
Medieval Haunting – rich metallic antique gold with accents of silver and gold sparkle
Avenging Salem – opaque black filled with vibrant deep pink sparkle and shimmer
Sleepy Hollow – lush ocean blue with a flash of sage green and gold sparkle
Dressed to Kill – glimmering glowing deceptive gilded green duocolor with flashes of gold and green sparkle

Freebies:
City Glam Lights of Stockholm – light purple sparkle
Arcane Magic Archmage – Deep green with a lighter shimmer that changes from pale green to silver to pink

Spell Fall Haul
I recently took advantage of the great 5 eye shadows for $20 deal that Spell had for Fall (with my VIP 25% off discount it was a steal, as I got my eye shadows for $15 and free shipping)

I purchased Triple Strand, Solitaire, Bauble, Swindle and Antiquity.
However, there was a problem with my order. I contacted Spell via email and they immediately corrected the problem and sent me some
extra shadows for my trouble (Treasure, Indigo, Aubergine, Cordovan and Hunt Club), which I thought was extremely generous of them!

Please let that be a lesson to you! If you have a problem with an order, contact the company immediately. Let them know, hey, I’m missing X item, or I received Y item when I ordered Z item (or whatever your particular issue is). Marvelous makeup companies that I frequent are great at fixing problems like these! Spell Cosmetics is just such a company that will fix things. Everyone is likely to make a mistake from time to time, and a great company is willing to fix the mistake. I always get upset when I see people write a blog post about a problem with an order and then find out that they never contacted the company. Most good companies, if you give them a chance, will try to correct the issue.

Here are the color descriptions:
Antiquity – antique gold
Bauble – royalty purple
Solitaire – sapphire
Swindle – garnet bordeaux
Treasure – patina meets pewter
Triple Strand – opal pearl
Aubergine – matte eggplant
Cordovan – matte burgandy
Hunt Club – matte hunter green
Indigo – matte navy

The Jewel Thief colors from Spell’s Fall collection really do have a nice metallic lustre to them. I need to try them with Fyrinnae’s Pixie Epoxy, as that makes it easy to ‘foil’ colors.

Have you tried Fyrinnae or Spell recently?
Do any of these colors appeal to you?

What have you hauled lately?
