Today I went to see The Clash of the Titans in 3-D. It was interesting, because in the middle of a movie the power went out in the theatre.  We had assumed the loud thunder noises were just part of the movie.

This look is from Tuesday, and you can really tell that I don’t feel well in the look, but I’m trying to put on my ‘game face.’ I try to be brave, to fake feeling well, and getting stuff done. you can also see that I got my bangs trimmed (though I need to fix the few strays that I have). My skin is definitely freaking out in these photos, bleh.

Also, you can see just how fantastic Kumquat makes for a more ‘neutral’ lip look on me. Who knew an orange lipgloss would capture my heart, paired up with Nyx’s Natural lipliner, of course. I just love how my lips look with those two items on. I end up feeling lovely without feeling like I’m wearing a ton of product.

You can see just how cute Carolyn’s earrings look on me! I really love them!

Also, I’m very impressed with Urban Decay’s Stardust eye shadow. It’s the first time I’ve been able to wear a glittery eye shadow from UD and not end up with fall out ALL OVER my face. Atmosphere is supposed to be a deep turqouise with iridescent sparkle. I don’t really see an iridescent sparkle to it, I see more of a silvery sparkle, but I think it’s a lovely color. While I’m definitely not giving up my loose shadows for Urban Decay, I can at least say that this is a nice shadow.

Has anyone tried the UD Stardusts? If so, do you like them?

I’d also forgotten just how much I love MAC Cloudburst until I wore it on Tuesday. It’s a great black with green sparkles of color it. Cloudburst is from MAC’s Heatherette Trio 1. I actually like all 3 colors in that trio.
