Saturday Stuffs

Saturday Stuffs

Saturday brought me some fantastic mail and some interesting new things. First up, I received a pair of custom threaders that I’d purchased from WhimsyBeading. The earrings are gorgeous. They’re a purple velvet and have some teal ab reflects. They’re a lovely deep blue-purple. The color is intense and I love it. Kelly from Whimsy has 2 sets of threaders up right now. You should go snatch them up before I do! Seriously, they’re so gorgeous!

Don’t Forget about Wear the Lilac for Alzheimers

You can see my previous post about it here.

Please wear lilac on May 25.

On May 25th fans of Terry Pratchett’s novel, Night Watch, wear the lilac in honor of the events in the book. Fans also now do this to support Alzheimer’s research.

Whimsy Beading is making pins from life-sife silk blooms for the cause.

Limited edition jewelry also for the cause will be sold in their store here.

The proceeds from the sales of these items will be donated to Alzheimer’s research.

Frolicsome Friday!

Frolicsome Friday!

Today is my 2 year blog anniversary! Today is also my husband Ray’s birthday! So Happy Birthday to both! Today is the perfect day to frolic and party :>

This morning, I got up and took Phaedra to the vet. It was time for her DOCP shot. She weighed in at 43.5 lbs, so she’s healthy, hasn’t gone into crisis, and is looking very good. I only had time for quick makeup before the vet, so here’s what I did. I did this in 3 minutes. (I did more makeup later :) )

3 Minute Makeup
Face:
Meow Pampered Puss foundation in Inquisitive Siamese
Meow Pampered Puss foundation in Snow Lynx

Eyes:
MAC Paint Pot in Delft – applied with a flat brush
MAC Shimmermoss – applied with a fluffy brush to lid and crease
MAC Vapour – on browbone
Covergirl LashBlast Fusion Mascara
