Smoky Grey look

I really started out planning on doing a single eye shadow color, but then I started playing around, and this is what I ended up with.

I started out with Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Then I nabbed Mercury shadow pencil and applied that to the lid and crease with the pencil and then blended it upwards. I took an angled eye shadow brush to smudge Mercury along the lower lash line. I next applied Astral Projection to the browbone and then blended the edge of the browbone and crease color. This is where I decided that I needed to add a few more shadow shades. I added Silver Ring to the inner 1/4 of the eyelid with a shade brush by patting it on. Then I took an angled crease brush and applied Knight Divine to the outer v and outer crease, then blended inward. I applied Perversion to the outer lower water line. I defined my brows with Nyx’s black brow pencil, and then used mascara. I added a bit of Astral Projection to the inner corners of the eye with an ecotools smudge brush.

Tuesday’s Quickie

I wore the Holika Holika again. I also used TFSI. For eye shadow, I used Concrete Minerals Rocked on the lid and crease, with Too Faced Heaven on the browbone and inner corners of the eye. I used Nyx brow pencil in black. I defined my lower water line with UD’s 24/7 liner in Perversion. MAC’s blush in Peachykeen and Buxom’s lip stick in Marrakech and Buxom’s gloss in Amber were on my cheeks and lips. I did use a touch of NARS Nico to lightly contour. I finished up with a bit of Cover Girl Lash Blast Luxe.

Guest Post: Vampirella Look

Vampirella. That name alone suggests one sultry siren. And let me tell you, she is just that. Originally a comic book heroine created in the late 1960’s, Vampirella, in her signature red thong suit with a white collar and shiny black knee-high boots, is one sexy mama, so for this look I combined a sharp vampiric eye with bright come hither red lips.

Monday’s Quickie

For my first day at my new position, I did very quick, very minimal makeup. I used the Holika Holika Orange BB creme all over my face and eyes, blending down towards my neck. Then I used TFSI on my eyes. I applied Too Faced Satin Sheets to my lid, Heaven on my browbone and crease, and then Like a Virgin to my crease and outer v. I used Cover girl Lash Blast Luxe Mascara. I used a bit of UD’s 24/7 liner in Uzi on the lower water line and Lorac’s dark brown brow pencil. For my cheeks I had MAC’s blush in Peachykeen and for my lips Buxom’s lip pencil in London.
