I’m excited to tell you that Hip Apotheca now carries Alima Pure! Alima Pure is a cruelty-free mineral makeup brand. I reviewed their Fairy Tale Holiday collection. I’ve got some more Alima Pure products from Hip Apotheca to show you today!

Hip Apotheca is a really cool online store. Their goal is to find the most innovative natural and organic lifestyle products and deliver them to you. Most, if not all, the products that Hip Apotheca carries are cruelty-free. They even make it easy to shop vegan! They’re a very small company and most of the brands they work with are small companies.

They’ve got some new products and brands I really want to check out, like Aim to be Pleased DeodoretteScotch Naturals nail polish, Koko Haze body mist.

Matoi Sushi and Nordstrom Rack with Tampa Beauty Bloggers

Saturday afternoon I met up with a few of the lovely beauty bloggers here in the Tampa Bay Area. Judi of Judixo, Genia of GeniaBeMe and Cristina of Let Them Have Polish met up with Ray and I at Matoi Sushi in Tampa. The sushi was pretty good! They have both Korean food and Sushi on their menu. I ordered sushi. Their dynomite roll was awesome and I highly recommend it.

As I’d been at a very long doctor’s appointment Saturday morning, I had very little time to do makeup before the lunch. I did a lightning quick look.

Alima Pure Fairy Tale Look

Alima Pure Fairy Tale Look

Due to the lovely Grey at LeGothique’s Pick of the Week last week, I wanted to try L’Oreal Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base. When I happened to head into Walmart on Friday, I saw it there and it came home with me. Today is the first day I’ve tried wearing it, and I decided to try it without any foundation. I used only a very light dusting of Ultra Resolution Finishing Powder in clear.

I also put together that look I mentioned wanting to try with Alima Pure’s Fairy Tale Holiday Collection. I’m not 100% pleased with it. I feel like I look weird since I didn’t use a gel liner. I also feel like Magic Wand is probably a tad too dark to be used alone as a highlighter on my browbone. It’s a good transitional shade though.
