Cutie Pie
For today’s look I wore the Silk Naturals color Cutie Pie on my lid and on my browbone, for a sort of ‘my skin but better’ type color. I layered Fyrinnae Kuroneko widely in the crease, and then put Silk Naturals Scout on top of it in the upper crease. I really like the effect … read more

Evidence in the Deep End
Wednesday I did a gorgeous bright look, probably too vibrant for the office, with UD’s Deep End. I shaded the outer corner of the lid with Evidence. I used Tokidoki’s Royal Pride bronzer in the crease and went with a shimmery browbone with UD’s Vanilla. I actually really love it I’m loving using Royal Pride … read more

Friday’s Day to Night
For Friday, I used Illamasqua’s Bronx eye shadow as my central eye shadow shade. For daytime, it was a wash of color on my lid and crease. For nighttime, I layered it with other shades to create an unusual shade.

The Lush Tropics
When NARS had their 17% off sale, one of the items I snagged was their eye shadow in Tropic. I decided it needed to be paired up with Illamasqua’s Bronx, another shade I recently acquired. This look really needed more of a transitional shade where Tropic meets Bronx. I think an iridescent gold would have … read more

Burnished Silver
This is more the look that I meant to do last week. I put Meow’s Psychic on my lid for a silvery white effect and Darling Girl’s Mr. Ed in the crease for a coppery peach. This was very simple to do. First I started with TFSI. Then I used a fluffy brush to apply … read more

Healthy Glow
Today’s look didn’t turn out quite the way I wanted it to. Now I’ve got ideas on how to try this again. I was going for a white gold on the lid and mixed a few shades and it was still too much of a pale gold shade. I do love how Astral Ways worked … read more

Visiting Versailles
I absolutely adore Versailles. It’s gorgeous. And I think it looks gorgeous on the lid. I used TFSI as a base. Then I put Versailles on the lid and crease, except for the outermost corner of the lid and crease with a taklon lid brush. I took Damask and used an angled eye shadow brush … read more

Bronzed
Today I participated in the Relay for Life Cancer walk with friends. I wanted to wear makeup that wouldn’t budge, and that was fairly simplistic. I applied TFSI, then took a concealer brush and applied MAC paint pot in Indianwood to the lid and crease, blending out the upper edge of color. I took the … read more
