Beauty Blog Advent Calendar – Glorious Golds

For today’s Beauty Blog Advent I decided to swatch a bunch of golds. I happen to love golds, and as I mentioned before, I don’t remember when the love happened, but I’m glad it did. I wanted to share some lovely golds with you today. Please note, I accidentally labeled Midnight Cowgirl as Midnight Cowboy. It’s really Midnight Cowgirl. I have just been inundated with always seeing Midnight Cowboy! And uhm, Meow’s color is Santa Honey! *headdesk* I had labeling fail.

Kinky!

Since I loved how my Cutie Pie look turned out, I did a similar one yesterday. I started with TFSI on the eye area. I then applied Concrete Minerals Kinky in the crease and outer v. I put Evil Shades Padawan on the lid and browbone. I then added Silk Naturals Cutie Pie to the lid. I lined my upper and lower lash line with Too Faced Perfect Peacock liner. Simple, but adorable. Kinky is such a complex teal. If you haven’t tried it, you should!

If you’re pale, you should give Evil Shades Padawan a twirl. It’s seriously fantastic. It’s a great my skin but better highlighter :)

This month’s Indie Spotlight is with the enchanting Emily from Concrete Minerals!

How long have you loved makeup?
Since I was a child! I have this amazing cousin who would babysit me when I was about 3 or 4 years-old. She was (and continues to be, I might add) the coolest girl on the planet! A model — awesome 80’s hair and everything — working at KNAC radio at the time, I distinctly remember this compact she gave me that I cherished so much. I think I’ve traced the beginnings of my love of makeup to that moment.
