Salted Caramels

The look I have for today is with BftE Cosmetics Salted Caramel as the focus. I love salted caramels, and this color is to die for! It’s a peach-tinged tan with a golden sheen and golden twinkles. I used Silk Naturals Scout to shade the crease and outer lid color as well as to line the eyes. I used a bit of Fyrinnae Kuroneko to darken the lid and outer v.

Silk Naturals Scout

It’s no secret I love Silk Naturals Scout. Last Tuesday I decided to make it the central color for my look. It’s so luxe! It’s a deep, shimmering copper with glints of gold and it resembles Urban Decay’s Smog. It’s certainly a winning eye shadow shade!

Guest Post: Flirty Summer Look!

The lovely Erin of The Pretty Exclusive did a flirty Summer look for us!

skin.

This look really needed more of a transitional shade where Tropic meets Bronx. I think an iridescent gold would have worked nicely. Additionally, while Tropic is gorgeous in the pan, I feel like the silver particles translates a little strangely to my lid . Also, I was sad that this color pulls more green than blue on me.

Burnished Silver

This is more the look that I meant to do last week. I put Meow’s Psychic on my lid for a silvery white effect and Darling Girl’s Mr. Ed in the crease for a coppery peach.

This was very simple to do. First I started with TFSI. Then I used a fluffy brush to apply Psychic to the lid. I used an angled crease brush to apply Mr. Ed to the crease. With a highlighter brush I applied Vapour to the browbone and then I used a small smudge brush to apply Vapour to the inner corners of the eye. I applied 24/7 pencil in Flipside to the lower water line and then finished the look with just Lash Blast Volume mascara. I used the Golden Blonde brow pencil to define my brows.
