Autumn Vacation at Siesta Key Tutorial

•••
I love how this look turned out, so I'm very glad I did a tutorial with it. I wanted to use Meow Cosmetics Siesta Key, since the color made me gasp out loud. I paired it with several gorgeous gold shades from BftE. Autumn is an amazing BftE color. Together, these two are breathtaking, in my opinion. Wearing Buxom Big & Heal[...]

Sin Party Look with Kuroneko, Purgatory, Scout and Sonic

•••
Well, I actually ended up using more eyeshadows than listed in the title of this post... I went to my friend's birthday party and he always has theme parties. This year it was a Seven Deadly Sins theme. I went as Lust, Dave went as Pride and Ray went as Wrath. Most of our friends went as Lust or Wrath. I did a picture tutorial for you. [...]

Salted Caramels

•••
The look I have for today is with BftE Cosmetics Salted Caramel as the focus. I love salted caramels, and this color is to die for! It's a peach-tinged tan with a golden sheen and golden twinkles. I used Silk Naturals Scout to shade the crease and outer lid color as well as to line the eyes. I used a bit of Fyrinnae Kuroneko to darken the lid and outer v. [...]

Silk Naturals Scout

It's no secret I love Silk Naturals Scout. Last Tuesday I decided to make it the central color for my look. It's so luxe! It's a deep, shimmering copper with glints of gold and it resembles Urban Decay's Smog. It's certainly a winning eye shadow shade! Guest Post: Flirty Summer Look!

•••
The lovely Erin of The Pretty Exclusive did a flirty Summer look for us! Here in Washington its finally starting to reach the high 70’s (sometimes 80’s if the sun is feeling generous) so I thought a flirty summer look is in order. If there are two colors that scream summer to me, its copper and sea blue. So with those two in mind, I created a fun but [...]

The Lush Tropics

•••
When NARS had their 17% off sale, one of the items I snagged was their eye shadow in Tropic.  I decided it needed to be paired up with Illamasqua's Bronx, another shade I recently acquired. This look really needed more of a transitional shade where Tropic meets Bronx. I think an iridescent gold would have worked nicely. Additionally, while Tropic is gorgeous[...]

Burnished Silver

This is more the look that I meant to do last week. I put Meow's Psychic on my lid for a silvery white effect and Darling Girl's Mr. Ed in the crease for a coppery peach. This was very simple to do. First I started with TFSI. Then I used a fluffy brush to apply Psychic to the lid. I used an angled crease brush to apply Mr. Ed to the crease. With a hig[...]
