My lovely friend Dominique of Mika Chan Sparkles & I decided to design some makeup looks for eachother. This is the look that she put together for me.


I had a Devil of a time getting the lashes to apply!

Shade Descriptions:
Black Black – flat, rich black (matte)
Kamikaze – a bright fire-engine sparkly red
Pyromantic Erotica – Vibrant orange. Starts off orange with strong golden-yellow sheen, closer to light it becomes a purer, darker, more vibrant orange as gold changes to redder-orange. Very metallic, less sparkly.
Crinoline – MAC Pettiecoat clone, peachy red glow
Gemini – MAC Grand Duo clone, plummy red with some warm coppery shimmer, a medium cool red
Corset – A clear brilliant reddish rouge
Black Berry – black
Currant – intense reddish purple
Cherry – vivid bright bluish-red
Love Alert – raspberry red with red pearl

Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in Black Bean – lid and lower crease
MAC Pigment in Black Black – lid and lower crease, outer v, lower lash line

Cheshire Cat Look for Alice in Wonderland

This is what I wore to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D. It was fantastic. It didn’t live up to my unrealistic expectations, but I still loved it. I wanted to get lost and explore in that world.

Phaedra- a plush matte/luster that is the deepest blue purple with flashes of fuschia and iridescent pink
Fanclub – perfect high listre pink with opalescent blue violet sheen
PrettyInPink – matte pink hotness. blacklight reactive.

This is my entry for A Bouquet of Beauty‘s sci-fi themed makeup look. Since Farscape has been my favorite Sci-Fi themed show ever (with Lexx a close second), I decided to do a look from Farscape. I also wanted to make it challenging, so I chose Commandant Mele-On Grayza.

I really wish it had turned out better. Smudging around my lips proved very difficult for me and I couldn’t figure out the right way to do it. I probably should have used a cotton swab but i was using a smudge brush.

Kristen of Aromaleigh suggested that I do a Cheshire Cat look, since I love the Cheshire cat so much.
I tend to love a deep purple with fuschia for the Cheshire Cat:

I recalled the cute Cheshire Cat that XSparkage did here, so this was sort of influenced by that, as well.

I absolutely LOVE how my eyes turned out :) I sooo need to get a full size of BlueOrchid. It’s got a great texture. And I have no idea how I overlooked BoilingPoint. I’d used it before but didn’t like it, and now I’m just in love with it. Aromaleigh’s Rocks! colors are so gorgeous!

Sylph – brilliant sparkling jewels in a white plush matte base
BlueOrchid – deep dusky purple orchid midnight blue. smooth matte. blacklight reactive.
BoilingPoint – Deep magenta purple with tiny opalescent pink sparkles.
Funkytown – cool intense purple blue. mostly matte with slight shimmer. rich and regal. blacklight reactive.

And I couldn’t resist this cute picture of Phaedra.

I may have to make this my go-to purple look because of how awesome BlueOrchid & FunkyTown look with BoilingPoint. Applying Sylph all over my eyes really made it easier to apply and blend colors, which was nice. And using Fanclub just at the seams worked out wonderfully.

I did another look with Meow’s 2008 Halloween Zombies colors. This time, I went for Witchy Chic. I even added a Widow’s peak to my hair line. I wore my choker from my Camille costme (based on the character by Yasmine Galenorn).
