Archetype Silk & Cyanide, Desert Rain, Bette’s Bangs

Shade Descriptions:
China White – a crystalline barely pink base with a pile of aquamarine and purple sparkle
Silk & cyanide – ashes of roses with some peach and iridescent glow
Desert Rain – soft translucent worn-denim blue with matching sparkle
Betties Bangs – deepest velvety black with sparkly blue highlights
Jar of Sorrows – Smokey plum, with strong pinkpurple shimmer. Soft blendable color with an iridescent quality. Matching pinkpurple glitter.

My Birthday Surprise

Ray and Dave planned a fabulous surprise for my birthday. They booked us at Disney’s Old Key West Resort in Orlando for a weekend of fun and relaxation. I LOVED our hotel room. I should have taken pictures, but I didn’t think to at the time. I didn’t get on my computer really at all, though I did check emails and twitter from my G1 phone. The bathroom in the hotel was awesome (especially compared to the bathroom at the last hotel we stayed at).

Friday night Ray and Dave had made reservations for the three of us at Jiko, the African restaurant located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. The food was pretty tasty. If you’ve never been to the Animal Kingdom Lodge, the decor is gorgeous. It’s really a lovely hotel.

You can see how we all cleaned up for dinner.

After dinner, we rented some movies from Blockbuster and went back to the hotel and watched them. Saturday and Sunday we relaxed around the resort, though we did go see the movie Year One at Downtown Disney. We came home Sunday evening.

This is Friday’s Look, and the same thing that I wore Friday night, only I made it a bit darker later in the evening. I like the Morgana Minerals White Gel Eye Shadow, but I may try Aromaleigh’s Indelible Cream Eye shadow in Pink Pearl next time with Archetype’s China White. Fyrinnae’s Mystic is SO GORGEOUS! I love how it looked with my eyes.

Spell Hologlow Shadows Look

I went to my friend’s housewarming party Saturday night and I wanted a sexy yet not too vibrant look. I used a black cream to powder eye shadow base as the foundation of the look and went from there. Ray really liked this as he said it was a nice subtle look, and a nice change from the more vibrant looks I’ve been wearing.

Lolita’s Lollipop

I really love how this look turned out. Archetype’s colors are definitely made for layering. I can’t get over how much I LOVE Lolita’s Lollipop and Dirty Blonde. The complexity of both colors, but especially Lolita’s Lollipop really amaze me.

Complex colors like Lolita’s Lollipop, Dirty Blonde, China White and Raven’s Wing are why Archetype Cosmetics is so popular.
Heavenly Natural’s Vanilla Crush is a great matte vanilla shade, btw. It looks only a bit lighter than my skin tone, and made a great base for this look.
