Sunday Clean Look

•••
This is what Dave has dubbed my clean look. It's very 'no makeup', despite the bright pink lip. Also, yesterday I went and got my roots done by Lori, my stylist, at Cameo Salon. So you can probably tell my hair looks lighter, though all she did was lighten to match my hair. I'll be getting the back trimmed next week. I did my makeup very different tod[...]

More Golden

I wanted to touch up my makeup before joining friends for dinner tonight, so this is what I did. I started with the base look from earlier today. I took a big fluffy brush and applied Thirsty to my lid and crease. I took a fiber optic pointed crease brush to apply Bulletto to my outer lid, outer v and crease. I used an angled eye shadow brush to apply Riposi[...]

Rose Gold

I really do love this pink shadestick. I wish UD would make some pink ones. This one is very similar to Fyrinnae's Rapunzel Had Extensions color. To do this look, I applied TFSI as my primer. I then used MAC Vapour (a pale peachy-pink shade with slight violet iridescence) on the browbone and the crease. I then applied Flirt Vanilla Truffle widely in the crea[...]

Friday's Look

Chantel from Geek Chic Cosmetics sent me a surprise in the mail. It contained one of her pressed palettes and some samples of upcoming collections (so you'll see swatches soon, I promise). The palette had 4 gorgeous colors: Mana Battery, Ugghhh... Brains, Stay Indoors and a pretty violet-purple with a blue iridescence, Phyrra. The geek on it was 'Standard Po[...]

Laura Geller Baked Eye Shadows Review

I purchased the Laura Gellar Baked Vanilla Nudes collection a while ago from QVC. I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the foundation, blush and eye shadow, so I ended up picking up a few more of the LG eye shadows. Shade Descriptions: Vanilla Toffee - a shimmery caramel Black Cherry - a black-cherry bronze Blue Heaven - light blue, vio[...]

Sinful Praline

I did an unusual look for me today. If I had to do it over again, I'd probably have chosen a different lippy, one that was more pigmented and pink. I used a 50/50 mix of Joppa's Morning Dew foundation in Citrine & Goldenrod. I think Goldenrod is a bit too dark for my taste, and Citrine is a bit too yellow, though it does a good job of cancelling out my p[...]

Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation in Porcelain Review

A while ago I purchased the Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation in Porcelain from QVC as a part of the Laura Geller Baked Vanilla Nudes set.   The Website Claims: What is it: A uniquely baked foundation powder, the fairest of the fair and among the most asked-for shades ever! Who is it for: All skin types and ve[...]
