After seeing this pretty nail tutorial on Lava Lamp nail drips, I decided to try it myself. I freehanded these designs. My left hand (since I’m right handed) turned out ok. My right hand was awful, so it was repainted.
I used Cult Nails Scandalous, Devious Nature and Blackout for my nails.

My manicure for the weekend was Cult Nails Devious Nature and Captivated. I was so excited because I had JUST FINISHED doing my nails and Maria tweeted she was wearing this. So I snapped a quick picture before I’d cleaned up my edges with a brush to show her my nails. We were nail twins!
My nails are currently naked. I broke a few while cleaning and rearranging the house this weekend. I’m trying to figure out what I should next put on them. I’ve been looking at that Finger Paints Late Night Rendez-vous.
I love colors with a blue iridescence. I purchased Orly Royal Velvet months ago. When I was at Sally’s this week, I saw Mysterious Curse, from the Dark Shadows collection, and had to have it. When I got home and swatched it, I realized I had another color that was identical to it… Royal Velvet.
Finger Paints recently released their Summer in the City Collection. I haven’t really heard anyone talking about it, but I ended up picking up two colors that caught my eye. Sally’s was having a buy 2 get 1 free, so I picked up 2 Finger Paints colors and 1 China Glaze color, Flying Dragon. As far as I’m aware, Finger Paints is sold exclusively at Sally’s Beauty Supply.
This is just a quick post of the mani I did last night. I used Rescue Beauty Lounge Aqua Lily and Evil Shades Phaedra’s Pink.
I just love that awesome turquoise with the loud hot pink!
