The Grace of the Feline Aurora

I mostly wanted to play with Meow Aurora Borealis today. It’s a sheer iridescent silver and it’s  really breathtaking. I used MAC Fix + to amp it up. I really like Illamasqua’s Feline. I could see using just the two shades together for a sort of smoky eye effect at some point in the future, but today I also incorporated Santa Cutie, a pretty purple.

Burnished Silver

This is more the look that I meant to do last week. I put Meow’s Psychic on my lid for a silvery white effect and Darling Girl’s Mr. Ed in the crease for a coppery peach.

This was very simple to do. First I started with TFSI. Then I used a fluffy brush to apply Psychic to the lid. I used an angled crease brush to apply Mr. Ed to the crease. With a highlighter brush I applied Vapour to the browbone and then I used a small smudge brush to apply Vapour to the inner corners of the eye. Silver Night

I wanted a silvery-grey look for today. I think this turned out ok, but I need to figure out how to make it better. I think i should have added some matte black in the outer vee for more depth. I love the MAC Veluxe Pearl finish, which is what inspired me to do this look. I wanted another holiday look that leaned silver without glitter. So the two main colors I used in this look, Silver Ring and Knight Divine, are veluxe pearl. For my other holiday looks for this year:
Purple & Gold, Green & SilverGoldBurgundy & Bronzey-Gold, and Blood & Gold.
