Winter Peacock Tutorial

•••
// Happy Sunday! Last night I went out for my friend's birthday and this is the look I wore out. We went to Hamburger Mary's to see a drag show. It was my first drag show (watching RuPaul's Drag Race doesn't count). It was very entertaining. If you're following me on Instagram, you saw pictures from the show last night. How to Achieve the L[...]

Fyrinnae Dinosaur Plushie Tutorial

This is the look that I wore for New Years Eve last night. I went with sparkly Fyrinnae Dinosaur Plushie (on Pixie Epoxy, of course), and the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette. How to Achieve the Look Apply Urban Decay Walk of Shame to the browbone and Urban Decay Naked 2 on the crease and lower browbone. Blend Urban Decay Faint i[...]

Hollywood Tutorial

I haven't broken out any of my Glamour Doll Eyes (affiliate link) shadows in a long time, so for this tutorial I used GDE Hollywood. I also used Concrete Minerals ¡Viva los Muertos! and Saint from the Sugar Skulls Collection, which celebrates Dia de los Muertos. A bit of Sugarpill Tako and Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy were incorporated too. [...]

Olympics Themed Look

I always loved the gymnastics competition though. I didn't see any of the events this year until I was at my BFF's rehearsal dinner. We were all entranced by the girls on the bars. It was really impr[...]

The Grace of the Feline Aurora

I mostly wanted to play with Meow Aurora Borealis today. It's a sheer iridescent silver and it's  really breathtaking. I used MAC Fix + to amp it up. I really like Illamasqua's Feline. I could see using just the two shades together for a sort of smoky eye effect at some point in the future, but today I also incorporated Santa Cutie, a pretty purple. [...]

Burnished Silver

This is more the look that I meant to do last week. I put Meow's Psychic on my lid for a silvery white effect and Darling Girl's Mr. Ed in the crease for a coppery peach. This was very simple to do. First I started with TFSI. Then I used a fluffy brush to apply Psychic to the lid. I used an angled crease brush to apply Mr. Ed to the crease. With a hig[...]
